AJ Lee "Resigns" As Raw General Manager; Replaced By Vickie Guerrero As Raw Managing Supervisor

As the storyline goes, AJ Lee "resigned" as the General Manager of WWE Raw on this week's show. The storyline reason is she was fraternizing with a fellow WWE superstar.

Vince McMahon "appointed" Vickie Guerrero as the "Raw Managing Supervisor."

While I do not know where they are going with the storyline (the initial part is airing live as I type this) but we first wrote of WWE looking to replace AJ Lee here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium on September 19, 2012. We also wrote exclusively that Vickie Guerrero was in the running to replace her.

Not a fan of this. I thought she was very entertaining as a GM. But I guess I’m in the minority on that one.

I’m interested to see where this goes though.

I agree with you! We’ve seen Vicki as GM before. I liked AJ

    • An0n

Im not, they’ve had vickie as gm before, and as memory serves, it was terrible

  • LeftyTosser

One more reason to quit watching RAW. Vickie needs to go back behind the curtain and never open her mouth on screen again.

Vickie in a position of power? Jesus wept! She was bad the first time! Everytime she speaks I want to reach for headache pills!

  • HugeRockStar

This whole storyline is stupid. What the hell is the difference between a ‘Managing Supervisor’ and a GM? Seems pretty much the same thing. And now this Cena drama with AJ, not a fan of tonight’s Raw.

I want Flair as GM! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! or just kill the gm story line. As Owen Hart would say enough is enough and its time for a change

    • Ken

Bring back Flair as GM, and he can give Vickie a ride on Space Mountain?

  • Nostaljack

AJ didn't work out as GM. I'd hoped she'd be crazy and turn everything upside down. She was given far too "straight" an approach to the gimmick and it bottomed out. Maybe she'll get back to the crazier AJ now that she so aggressively attacked Vicki.

Left a bad taste in my mouth. Hated to see AJ cry but i guess from there they might build up a huge showdown between her and Vicki, most likely either at Survivor Series (along with the other showdown between Eve and Kaitlyn; good luck with that one.) or the Raw the night after. This feud between these 2 "over" women has got to end somewhere, and in a way we'd never forget. 'Magine that. And Cena/Ziggler at ringside.

A lot of you on this site are a bunch of marks

Why is vickie still in the wwe?

  • carja974

It makes SOOOOOO much sense to come down on AJ for "fraternizing" with superstars and then to name as her replacement a woman who has MARRIED a superstar she then abused her power to help win championships and who is currently the manager with benefits of yet another superstar.

While I am disappointed with the replacement of A.J., especially with Vickie Guerrero, I think some of you may be overlooking something important. If Vickie is removed from Dolph, this opens the door for a Ziggler-Flair pairing. I think that could be incredible.

  • VLG

Why WWE why? Vickie? Really? Really? What is the point? She's been GM of Smackdown once, and this would her third stint in charge of Raw. Its hardly a plausable action. Vickie Guerrero wasn't removed on-screen due to quitting, she got fired on screen. For someone to be fired 3 times and still end up with the job, thats an impossible scenario.

Glad I don’t actually watch wrestling any more. Vicki has been done before and I cannot stand her excuse me gimmick. The wrestling business as a whole is so much in the crapper right now it is not funny. Back during the Monday night wars there was real entertainment value is wrestling. Not any more. I can get my fix from this site and save 2. Make that 3 hours of Monday might. Even the NFL is better that Raw

  • AnacondaVise

Vince McMahon telling Cena that he doesn't even really know what Vickie's job is had me laughing and not in a good way.

I mean really? You are trying to sell her in this "new role" and then you say that? What the hell are fans supposed to think of her in this role when the owner of the WWE doesn't even know what her job is?

The only position Vickie is good for is GORILLA

  • peterkin Emmy

Vickie must move out of that position, let them bring back AJ lee
