American Wolves In TNA, Talent Meeting, Bradley Calls Dixie A Scapegoat, Angle Names 10 Best Cities

- Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are expected to debut with TNA Wrestling at this week’s Genesis themed Impact taping in Huntsville, AL, as we reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com. For those who thought they were under WWE developmental contract, that wasn’t the case. The American Wolves were brought in on a “trial” basis as Triple H was unsure about signing Richards because he has a reputation of being hard to deal with. Edwards is a different situation but apparently WWE was looking to sign them together.

- Dixie Carter Tweeted the following:

- Recently released TNA talent Jay Bradley told Between the Ropes that Dixie Carter has become the IWC’s scapegoat. You can listen to the full interview at this link.

- Kurt Angle named the 10 best cities to wrestle in at this link.

So you can’t pay AJ but you can bring in “new guys.” Speaks for itself, doesn’t it?

To be fair, TNA could get two or three new guys for the price of AJ Styles even at the reduced rate they wanted to pay him.

But not people with the history or draw of AJ. She really is dropping the ball in a huge way.

Oh, I agree but here we go again with the WWE rejects. Both of them tried out for WWE and were unsuccessful. Their next move? What everyone else’s is: go to TNA; they’ll take anything. I know Edwards and Richards can really go, of course. Still, same old thing over and over again. Also, TNA is *not* where those guys should be focusing their energies. Just because WWE rejected them once doesn’t mean it’s everlasting. Now that they’re headed to TNA, though, it just might.

It could bite them in the ass, talented workers, but the desire to get on television immediately will wind up working against them. They could have easily gone back to ROH and kept the door open with WWE. We know how Vince is with guys who have worked TNA, can’t think Triple H is going to be much more open minded.

I thought Davey Richards was on his way to WWE? What happened?
