Another WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Announcement Expected To Be Made Official Tonight

Ron Simmons, formerly known as Farooq, is scheduled to have his forthcoming induction into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012 officially announced on tonight’s Raw Supershow.

While not confirmed, the feeling is he’ll be inducted by John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Saturday, March 31, 2012 from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

I think I stopped watching wrestling when this whole “damn” gimmick came about. I will always remember him as an acolyte or the leader of the NOD.

I will always remember him being the first black WCW champion. Being part of Doom, a very under rated team with Butch Reed with Teddy as their manager. As a beast of a defensive tackle from FSU, and one of my all time favorites in the ring. It’s about damn time.

  If I remember correctly, he is the 1st black world champion in all of pro wrestling by winning the WCW Titlw from Vader in 92.
