Wasn't Chavo's body guard the guy formerly known as the "Angry Amish Chicken Plucker Roadkill" in the original ECW? The resemblance is uncanny.
Several readers have asked this question so I felt like it was worth answering here on the site. No, Bam Neely is not Amish Roadkill although there is a very striking resemblance. Roadkill was recently released from his WWE developmental contract.
I love the site. I am a premium subscriber and try to get on every chance I get. Have you ever thought about adding to your premium site the ability to view or download old wrestling matches or scenes? There are certain events that I would love to watch again but am having a hard time to locate.
We have to be VERY careful about what we put on the site as far as Multimedia goes because of copyright issues. The parts of matches and footage that we decide to post on the site will be included in the Backstage Specials section which is available to all users. Most of those videos are taken from other video sites such as YouTube.
Hey Richard. Scott Steiner made it perfectly clear that he was going to use his title match at Sacrifice next month. And if Kurt Angle loses he’s out of the title picture. So my question is what are the plans for Kurt Angle if he loses the World Title at Lockdown?
There is a lot to assume here. First we have to assume that Samoa Joe goes over Angle at Lockdown and that TNA decides to do a Scott Steiner/Joe feud afterwards. However, I was told that preliminary plans were for Kurt Angle to do a program with AJ Styles. That could have changed, however, was the direction the company was planning on going in.
With WWE complaining that they are not getting enough traffic to their site, what are some of the positive and negative aspects you see regarding wwe.com?
Personally I think that WWE.com is a joke. The site mixes worked story line articles with legitimate articles. My opinion is that Internet wrestling fans are smart on the business so it is nothing more than a laughing stalk trying to advance story lines online. I feel like it has to be one or the other - either all legitimate news or all kayfabe news. Mixing the two really hurts the credibility of the official website. Furthermore the ‘Industry News’ section is the biggest joke I have ever seen. They take news from low quality wrestling NEWZ sites, most of which steal news from quality sites like WNW, and give the site in question credit for it! The reason for WWE.com’s drop off in unique visitors is industry wide, however, the site remains extremely popular.
What is the deal with Colin Delaney? Where is he from? Why is he on TV? What’s his background?
Colin Delaney is best known by independent wrestling fans as Colin Oslen as he worked with Jimmy Olsen as a tag team in CHIKARA. He is only 21 years old and is from Rochester, New York. Colin Delaney is his real name. The story that I heard how he got his WWE contract is that the company was looking for someone to get squashed on ECW. Delaney got lucky and was called in to do the job. Company officials were impressed with how well he got over with the fans and continued to work him on a per show basis. After he continued to get over with fans he was signed to a WWE contract. Delaney was basically in the right place at the right time and ended up getting the break of a lifetime.
