With Steve Austin hosting Raw next week, what kind of a relationship does he have with Bret Hart? Are they on good terms with one another?
Steve Austin and Bret Hart have mutual respect for one another. Hart put Austin over several times in his autobiography and talked about the respect he has for Austin. It is interesting given the relationship Austin had with Bret's brother Owen. Owen is who injured Steve Austin's neck and according to Austin, never apologized for it. The spot happened on a tombstone piledriver where Owen dropped to his backside rather than his knees when Austin specifically told him to drop to his knees.
Do you think it was a mistake for TNA to move to Monday nights before Wrestlemania? Everyone knows that WWE's ratings go up this time of year, so why not wait until after the buildup to Wrestlemania?
I think it's a good time of the year for TNA to make the move. The road to Wrestlemania is the peak of the wrestling business and more people are watching wrestling this time of year than any other time. It is also important to keep in mind Monday Night Football is finished for the season and that draws a tremendous audience on cable. The time is now for TNA; they just have to capitalize on their opportunities.
What is Billy Kidman doing these days?
Billy Kidman is a trainer at Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, Florida. He is a WWE contracted employee.
What are your thoughts on David Otunga?
David Otunga has a great look and has obviously worked very hard to get where he is. I thought Otunga had a terrible match the first week of WWE NXT but he has made up for it the past two weeks on the show. Otunga has a Harvard law degree and could get other jobs. The fact he wants to be a professional wrestler and is willing to put in the work speaks volume of his character. As long as he remains focused he has a very bright future in WWE.
