With Bret Hart signing a contract with WWE through April, how good do you think the chances are that WWE will induct Stu and Owen Hart into the Hall of Fame in 2010?
The chances seem as good as ever WWE will finally induct both Stu and Owen Hart into their Hall of Fame with Bret reportedly returning to the company. However, I am going to be very interested to see how Bret is able to make this deal work. Bret is a very proud individual and has a rocky past with several people in WWE. I will actually be surprised if Bret is able to get along throughout the duration of his deal which is reported to run through Wrestlemania.
What do you think are the chances the live Impact on Jan 4th will draw the 3.0 cable rating?
It's going to be extremely tough for TNA to compete with WWE in the ratings. The first hour traditionally drags the WWE Raw rating down because fans are used to the 9 to 11 PM timeslot. TNA is doing all they can to promote the January 4th edition of Impact so it's going to be interesting the number they draw. I know I'm going to watch TNA live and DVR Raw because I'm intrigued with what might happen.
Do you think by having established stars like Chris Jericho, Big Show and DX holding the Unified WWE Tag Titles, does it add legitimacy and the restore glory the tag titles once had?
Having main event talent hold the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship has absolutely restored the legitimacy of the titles and was done for that exact reason. The thinking behind the belts is to make them meaningful and a way for the champions to appear on all the brands.
My question is with Hogan coming to TNA next month do you see TNA staying just in Orlando or doing Impacts from different arenas like WWE does with there shows?
The company is obviously going to want to get out of Orlando but it depends on how they are able to draw. Right now TNA cannot even sell out half of an arena for their flagship Bound For Glory pay-per-view. They are going to have to do much better than that to start holding TVs in different venues across the country. It's a tremendous expense with all the production equipment to move across the country so they have to sell out arenas to make it work.
