Hey Richard, love the site! I'm on it at least 3 or 4 times a day. I love my premium access! My question is which wrestlers are really close with other wrestlers backstage? Like how Shawn Michaels and Triple H are like best friends. Who else? That you know of.
Thanks so much for your support of WNW and our Premium section! There are several superstars that have close relationships so I won’t be able to name them all but Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore, and Gregory Helms are very close. Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho are good friends. Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero are also very close. While everyone always says that there are no true friends in this business, there are superstars have came up together and have formed close personal bonds. Most tag teams have to have some sort of friendship as well to be able to function as a unit.
Hey Richard, love the site. With WrestleMania being just days away I was wondering what your favorite Mania main event was and why?
Thanks for the compliment; I’m glad you love the site! There has been a ton of superb main event WrestleMania matches; however, my favorite to date was at WrestleMania 19 when Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to win the WWE Championship. The match was over 20 minutes long and was excellent from top to bottom. The match included Lesnar suffering a concussion after he botched a Shooting star press off the top rope onto Angle, but that spot still gives me chills. I was a huge fan of Brock Lesnar and I feel like Angle is one of the greatest in-ring workers of all time.
Is there any sort of heat on Mickie James that you know about? It seems she has been banished to Heat for the past 2 months it seems. With a Women’s Tag Match at WrestleMania that features one woman who can wrestle, one who sort of can and two that are very green, wouldn’t it have made sense to have either Mickie James or even Victoria in the match?
It definitely would have made more sense to insert Mickie James in Candice’s place and there was serious talk of doing so before Ashley Massaro returned. However, WWE is not treating this as a serious wrestling match. The BunnyMania match is this year’s gimmick match where it will be used for sex appeal and give Snoop Dogg a chance for an appearance. Personally I would have rather seen Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix but save that for a later date. It’s WrestleMania – WWE wants to have something for everyone.
Hi Richard! Love the site! I was on "that company's" way less awesome web page reading about Sunny. I was wondering if she is going to return anytime soon to the WWE. I remember reading that she was in talks with the WWE a few months back, but that seemed to disappear from the news. Any chance we will see her sometime soon?
Haha, thanks for the kind words my friend! I think there is always a chance that we could see Tammy Sytch (a/k/a Sunny) back in WWE but I haven’t heard of anything recently. WWE officials were impressed with the way that she looked at the Raw Anniversary Show several weeks ago and Sytch even told people that she expected to receive a new contract from WWE. With that being said I haven’t heard anything serious lately.
