Do you think WWE has used Tommy Dreamer right or do you think he is owed more?
I do not have a problem with how Tommy Dreamer has been utilized and to be honest I doubt Tommy does either. He has at least been given a storyline and he is getting to work Sunday’s pay-per-view against the brand's champion. At this point in his career I could not see that being a problem what-so-ever.
My question is regarding the Montreal Screwjob. Even though it's been almost 11 years since it happened, how come it's still a huge subject to talk about?
To be honest I don't know why the Montreal Screwjob is still so prevalent today. I think that it affected Bret tremendously and forever changed the industry. The entire Hart family has such an impact on this business I think tat the Screwjob will be talked about forever no matter how much people like Earl Hebner would like to see it go away.
Do you think Mark Henry's reign [as ECW Champion] is a "gift" from WWE because of the Michael Hayes incident or that he deserves the run as a champion?
There are plenty of people within the industry that have speculated that Mark Henry’s reign as ECW Champion is in response to the incident with Michael Hayes but that would be impossible to confirm. I know that WWE has wanted to feature more African Americans on television for several months now so while the Hayes incident could have played a part the increase of African American talents featured on television could be as well. Notice Henry is not the only African American in the midst of a push.
Hypothetical situation for you – if you were booking TNA what would you do differently?
I would probably do the opposite of everything that they are doing right now. I have talked to several workers in the industry and most everyone that I talk too agrees – TNA should focus more on wrestling and less on the bizarre Russo storylines, non-logical angles, and ridiculous gimmick matches. TNA has such a talented roster I think if they would focus more on building a storyline and have it culminate with a wrestling match then the product would be much better. I do not think that this would pick up the ratings as I think that the ratings have to be fixed through marketing but I think that it would be much easier to market wrestler A vs. wrestler B in the "biggest match of the year" rather than the Full Metal Mayhem Street Market Fish Fight Ultimate X Terror Dome extravaganza.
