Hi. Do you ever plan on giving a free preview of the premium site? I've been debating since Jan to subscribe or not but I'm not sure what's in store and what I get with the subscription. A preview for a day or two may help some of us who are hesitant decide.
Yes we do plan on eventually giving visitors a free preview of WNW Premium. The only reason that we haven't yet is because we have to be careful on how we do it because of all of the people that steal our news. I do not want one of the thieves getting on the Premium site and copying and pasting all of our work from exclusive sources and putting it on low quality NEWZ sites. There are only about a handful of quality wrestling news websites on the Internet, the rest of them copy and paste everything that we write. However, one thing that may help you decide is we have put archives up of all of the Premium sections so you can view the Backstage News Updates, Audio Hotlines, Premium PPV Previews, and WNW Premium Newsletters. While you cannot view the content you can get an idea of what you will be getting with your purchase.
What is the name of the song that WWE has used in all of the Ric Flair tributes?
The song is called Leave The Memories Alone and is by Fuel. I have been listening to the song over and over throughout the weekend and actually have it playing in my headphones as I type this. It is an excellent song and will probably become a song forever remembered by wrestling fans.
I love the site. The WrestleMania coverage was great for people like me who can't afford the pay-per-views. I heard somewhere that there was heat on Dwayne Johnson (I refuse to call him The Rock anymore) for his demeanor and attitude toward his former colleagues at this year's Hall of Fame ceremony. I read that he acted very high and mighty and very "Hollywood." Is there any truth to this? And if so, how do you feel about The Rock acting this way to the people who basically made him who he is today?
I know the report that you are talking about, however, I have not been able to confirm or deny it. I am very skeptical to believe the report as it could have been given from someone that has a hidden agenda against Dwayne Johnson. There is a lot of jealousy towards Johnson because of the success that he has had. Obviously there is going to be resentment from some people in the wrestling business that feel that Johnson “sold out" and from people that are jealous because they are working ten times as hard and not making half the money that he is. If I find anything out I will post it as a Premium Update as I do not like to distribute sensitive stories to the masses because of the issue with our “competitors" that I mentioned above.
Do you know if USA will air the HOF ceremony again? I missed setting my DVR and really wanted to see Ric Flair's induction. I have been a fan for over 30 years going all the way back to the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling from the Starland arena in Roanoke, VA.
I do not know of any plans for the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to replay on the USA Network, however, I heard that there are plans to include the entire ceremony uncut on the WrestleMania XXIV DVD that will be released on May 20th. If I were you I would just wait for that to come out, I know that I'll be buying it.
