How do you feel about the Guest Host each week on Raw?
It depends on who the host has been. I didn't like Seth Green as guest host yet was high up on the work of Shaquille O'Neal. I liked Jeremy Piven more than most but felt Sgt. Slaughter was under-utilized in the role. The gimmick has offered some variety on the show but I would rather see a mainstay General Manager on Raw. It looks like WWE is going to keep the guest host gimmick going through September so we’ll see how things go.
Where did WWE tape the Triple H/Shawn Michaels segments from Monday’s Raw?
Apparently the skits were taped at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut in the actual staff cafeteria.
With The Undertaker and Edge currently on the shelf, do you think it’s a good time for Jeff Hardy to take time off?
This is a very bad time for Jeff Hardy to take off with the lack of main eventers on SmackDown right now. WWE management has been scrambling trying to keep Hardy and ended up signing him to a 30-day extension to keep him through SummerSlam and give them more room to negotiate. Apparently Hardy still has his sights set on taking time off after SummerSlam but it couldn’t be at a worse time for WWE. The company is expecting The Undertaker back before the end of the year.
My question is regarding Raven and Shane Douglas status with TNA. They both returned and had 3-4 matches between them and disappeared. What was the point in bringing the back for a pointless and pathetic run?
TNA brought Raven and Shane Douglas in under short-term deals to work the shows they did. They did not sign new contracts which is why they disappeared from television. I cannot begin to speculate as to why TNA did what they did.
