Hardy Jabs, Washington, Rey's Return, Jackson/Kozlov

Written by Richard Gray on Sep 23, 2009 - 10:58:57 AM

Do you think WWE was getting Jeff Hardy's attention with the jabs on SmackDown or was it more of Vince's callous humor? Knox talks about restless leg syndrome in a stupid interview that made no sense, Matt wasn't on the show, and then CM Punk saying he ended Jeff's career with an emphasizing FOREVER.

I heard it was Vince McMahon's decision to take the jabs at Jeff Hardy and was part of what he thought was funny. The jabs were not coincidental. A lot of people in WWE are disappointed with Jeff Hardy but a lot of upper management is relieved he was not under contract when he was busted because that would put unwanted negative media attention on the company.

Who writes The Abraham Washington show on ECW? Are they supposed to be that bad or is it just me?

The segments are written by the creative team just like everything else - the ECW creative team is headed up by Ed Koskey. Most readers seem to be split over the Abraham Washington Show they either love it or hate it. I thought last night's edition was entertaining. I actually popped when Washington told Sheamus he made Casper look like a brotha.

Are there plans to team Batista and Rey Mysterio together to challenge Chris Jericho and Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship?

Yes, the current plan is for Batista and Rey Mysterio to team up to face Chris Jericho and Big Show for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship when Mysterio comes back from suspension.

Hey Richard, I wanted to get your thoughts on the stable of Ezekiel Jackson, Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal. Where do you see WWE going with this stable?

I think the stable is a good way to build both Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. They were too green to get over in singles but with the veteran leadership of Regal they have translated to more of a force on ECW. I haven't heard where WWE plans on going with the stable but I like their current position on the brand.
