Hart/WWE, Ryder's Future, Releases, Vince, Blood/HIAC
Written by Richard Gray on Sep 25, 2009 - 10:35:37 AM
I just want to say I love this site I check it every day no matter where I am. I am a huge Bret Hart fan and have been since the days of the Hart Foundation. My question is with all the recent talk of Bret Hart returning to WWE programming, what are the chances this will actually occur?
Thanks for the compliment! The chances seem to be fairly good. Bret Hart is a very serious person and he wouldn't talk with WWE if he were not serious about returning. I was surprised to hear of the negotiations earlier this week but we'll see how they go.
I've been a Zack Ryder fan since he and Hawkins helped Edge win the World title back a few years ago. Does he have any future at all in WWE?
Zack Ryder has a future in WWE. Officials are obviously confident enough in him to give him a shot in the ECW main event two weeks in a row and getting on TV is always the first step in getting over. Ryder has a tremendous upside and I'm a fan of his new gimmick.
Over the past 2 years, WWE has released two superstars, that in my mind could of been huge draws, being Bobby Lashley and more recently Kennedy. What I don't understand is how could you release wrestlers with that much talent for virtually no reason, yet useless jobbers who will never get over like Charlie Haas, Goldust, Jamie Noble, Jesse(Slam Master J), and even Chris Masters still have jobs and get decent airtime?
Lashley actually quit WWE, he wasn't released. Kennedy was released because of concerns regarding his torn labrum that had already cost him a considerable amount of time. Charlie Haas is one of the most talented workers on the roster yet has struggled to get over. I've never been a fan of Jamie Noble but he's actually a Producer backstage. Goldust was brought in to work with the younger works on ECW and Jesse is being given a chance in his new gimmick. Masters was re-signed because Vince McMahon thinks he has a marketable look.
Who does Vince McMahon have the poorest relationship with? Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior or Eric Bischoff?
Based on what I've heard it's probably Randy Savage because his name is considered taboo in WWE. Warrior is just considered crazy while Bischoff is Bischoff.
Given the new PG direction, does this mean there will be no intentional blood during the Hell in a Cell PPV?
There will be no intentional blood at WWE Hell in Cell because of the company's PG programming. I don't agree with it but it is the way it is.
