Hemme, Names, Inter-Brand Matches, WWE Hierarchy

Written by Richard Gray on Apr 22, 2009 - 11:23:27 AM

I was wondering whatever happened to Christy Hemme?

Christy Hemme has been out with a serious neck injury. She has two herniated disks which is similar to the injury John Cena recently had.

How do the workers acknowledge each other backstage? Does Triple H go by Paul (his real name), Trips, Hunter, etc?

Workers for the most part go by their real name or nickname. Some people call Triple H Hunter others refer to him as Paul, a lot of people call Kelly Kelly Babs (her real name is Barbie), Christian goes by Jay (his real name is Jason). I could go on forever but I think you get the idea.

Why is WWE doing all these inter-brand matches and promos post-draft?

The storyline is the Draft does not take effect until after Backlash. The reason why this was done is because it was impossible from a logistical standpoint to switch the rosters with the European tour already underway when the Supplemental Draft took place last week.

My question is regarding the hierarchy in WWE. Everyone knows Vince is number 1, but who is 2 - I would assume Linda is two and Shane and Stephanie share spot 3, but after the family, who holds the most stroke? Or is it more of stroke by committee? I would have to think Jim Ross is up the ladder.

Jim Ross actually doesn't have any executive authority any more. JR was replaced as Senior Vice President of Talent Relations by John Laurinaitis who has a lot of power backstage. Kevin Dunn, who is the Executive Vice President of Television Production, also has a lot of say. You can view a full list of executive officers in World Wrestling Entertainment at their corporate website which you can access at this link.
