HIAC & TLC, Michelle McCool, Maryse, Ziggler vs. Morrison

Written by Richard Gray on Sep 11, 2009 - 11:25:21 AM

When they changed the names of the pay-per-views like Hell In A Cell and TLC, will all of the matches be in a Hell In A Cell and all TLC matches?

I don't think there is a decision yet, however, if they follow the format they are doing with Breaking Point it will probably be the main event matches. I would prefer the gimmicks be limited to the main event matches as 6-8 Hell in a Cell matches or TLC matches would get monotonous.

What are your thoughts and opinions on the current WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool?

I think she is overrated. Gail Kim is not only the best female worker in WWE but arguably the best female worker in the world yet she is buried on Raw and never got a shot on SmackDown. I have a real problem with people like Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix not getting a chance to carry the women division while people such as McCool and Melina get pushes. I do not like how WWE pushes their female workers.

Is there any reason as to why WWE has not acknowledged Maryse's current injury on Raw or even on their website? She has disappeared off of TV since losing her title and they've never mentioned why on the show. Casual fans would have no idea where she is. Thank goodness WNW provides us with this type of news.

As far as I know there is no reason. WWE makes a big deal out of injuries to their main event superstars but undercard workers and Divas just disappear off television. I agree it's kind of silly but at least you have us to keep you informed.

Why was the Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison match removed from the Breaking point card? Also were you looking forward to that match as much as I was?

I haven't heard the reason but I would imagine it has to do with the outcome and WWE not wanting to rush it. There was a lot of talk of putting Ziggler over Rey Mysterio at the pay-per-view. Plans were changed when Mysterio was suspended and officials probably didn't want to rush a match between two workers they are building as superstars. I was looking forward to the match but I think it's the right decision to give the program more build before doing it on pay-per-view.
