Hogan As A Wrestler, TNA On Mondays, Edge, Bourne
Written by Richard Gray on Oct 29, 2009 - 1:19:16 PM
Hey guys, I think Hulk Hogan going to TNA is a good thing for them. But I personally don't want to see him wrestle. I think he is out of his league and he just wants to leave the glory days. What do you guys think?
From what I understand Hulk Hogan is not coming in as a full-time in-ring talent. He'll work some matches but I think he's going to be utilized in other on-air roles. I don't mind seeing Hogan in the ring every now and then; especially if he helps younger workers get over. However, I don't want to see him holding the TNA Championship either.
With Hogan and Bischoff both in TNA and rumors that Spike wants TNA to go head to head with WWE Raw do you think it's a bit too early?
It's actually Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff that feel it is essential they get TNA on Monday nights. Of course it's a bit early but the feeling seems to be it's all or nothing. Now there is nothing concrete about TNA going to Monday nights nor is there a timetable on when it will happen. However, the feeling is it is going to happen and it's a matter of when.
Is there any news about when Edge is going to come back to WWE?
There have been rumors he could be good to go around Royal Rumble but I have heard nothing official. He'll be at Florida Championship Wrestling this weekend and is advertised for WWE's overseas tour next month so we'll see. Edge suffered a very serious injury and no one wants to rush him back. However, the feeling is he will be back.
I'm tired of Evan Bourne jobbing on Raw every week with the occasional count-out/fluke victory on one night, then back to jobbing the next week. Why was he moved to Raw? When he was on ECW, he actually won matches and when he was used on Raw, he'd actually look credible and was even paired up with Rey Mysterio. Did his injury play a role in Bourne's sudden de-push? Does he have any hope in the WWE?
I'm told that Evan Bourne is actually over with the right people in WWE, they are just struggling to find a program for him. This gives me some hope in his future and that Vince McMahon has not "forgot about him" since his ankle injury. I agree he had a brighter future on ECW which is why I think the company has to be very careful about when they trade a worker to Raw or SmackDown.
