Jarrett/Wrestling, Benoit-HOF, Flair vs. Edge, More

I am a premium member and I love the site. Jeff Jarrett? I know he left for a while when his wife died, but he’s been gone longer than I expected. Does he plan on coming back to wrestle? Or is he just going to be part of the management at TNA now?
Thanks for your support of Wrestling News World and our Premium section! I’m glad that you are happy with your membership. There are no plans for Jeff Jarrett to return to the ring anytime soon. Jarrett is said to be content with his work behind-the-scenes in the company. This question originally said when his “dad” died but I want to clarify that it was not his father that died but it was his wife.
I have been watching wrestling for quite a while now and Chris Benoit was always one of my favorites, but I don’t like WWE’s reaction to his death. They never show any of his matches anymore, they never talk about him anymore, and they never even mention his name. But I want to know if you believe as I do that Benoit should be inducted into the Hall of Fame?
I do not agree with how WWE has edited Chris Benoit out of their history because it is history no matter how ugly that it might be. There is no doubt about it that Benoit was an outstanding wrestler and one of the greatest workers ever. However, I do not think that he should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. This is very controversial but there is no reason to honor him after the crimes that he committed. He will forever have a place in wrestling history, maybe not with WWE, but in the minds of anyone that watched him or followed his career.
Hey Richard, I just want to say WNW is my home page for my Internet browser and I probably check the site about 10 to 20 times a day. Going premium was by far a great investment! But my question is, how close do other wrestling news sites come to competing with WNW? In my opinion I can’t see any comparison, but how do you feel about the competition? Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your support, like the reader above, I’m glad that you are enjoying your Premium membership. There is a lot of competition as far as wrestling news websites go and while WNW remains one of the elite as far as popularity goes, I feel that we are far better than any other wrestling news site online. I am not trying to be arrogant or cocky in this answer but there are not any other wrestling websites online that cover the business like we do. Our content is superior to anything that you are going to get anywhere else. I’m sure someone could put up an argument for another website but there is no way WNW is going to lose when compared to a competitor. As for the competition, I like it. I feel that competition makes us better because we are always looking for ways to get an edge.
Next week on SmackDown, Ric Flair will be in a non-career threatening match. Does this almost guarantee him to lose? I find some situations in WWE so stupid. Another example of this was the Royal Rumble, I think. Shawn Michaels had to qualify for the Rumble against Trevor Murdoch! I was ALMOST sure that Trevor Murdoch was going to win. Give me a break!
I was under the impression that the career threatening stipulation only applied to singles matches, so I’m not sure why WWE mentioned that in their promotion for the match. Nonetheless WWE does some weird things but they are just because the company is using the matches to build towards pay-per-views. No one actually thought that Murdoch was going to defeat Michaels but the company had to get someone to do the job to Michaels and they didn’t want it to be anyone that was going to be featured on the pay-per-view. The Ric Flair match that will be taped tomorrow for Friday’s SmackDown is a way to get The Nature Boy on the show and keep good heat on Edge and his posse to build towards Mania. The match isn’t meant to be taken serious like a pay-per-view bout.
