Jeff Hardy's Status, Where's HBK?, The Miz, Finishers

Written by Richard Gray on Jun 3, 2009 - 12:56:13 PM

Has Jeff Hardy signed a new contract with WWE and if so do you know how many more years he signed for?

I do not have 100% confirmation but I am under the impression Jeff Hardy has agreed to a new deal with WWE. Whether or not he has signed the deal and it has been finalized is unknown at this time. I also haven't heard the terms as I know WWE approached him with a long-term offer initially but I'm not sure about what was agreed upon. As always if we learn this information we will be sure to pass it along.

Where is Shawn Michaels?

Shawn Michaels requested time off after WrestleMania to give his body time to heel. His knees in particular are said to be bothering him as well as pain in his back. Michaels was originally slated to return next month in time for the build to SummerSlam but there's talk he may have asked for the entire summer off.

I'm afraid if the Miz feuds with John Cena he will end up being buried... Who do you think he should feud with to legitimize his push?

As I reported a few weeks ago on Wrestling News World Premium, WWE officials are very happy with how the push of The Miz is going which is why they have protected him against even a top guy like John Cena. He isn't going to get buried because of how high up the office has been on his work. I like how the company is utilizing him on Raw and think there is a very bright future for him.

Is there someone who works with wrestlers to help them develop finishing moves, or possibly has a sole position in the company just to develop finishers? Or is it just a wrestler who creates the move?

Finishers are created by the workers. They may ask for input or advice but ultimately a signature maneuver is created by the person that performs it.
