Jericho's Contract, 900th Raw, HBK, Mickie, Team 3D

I heard Chris Jericho's contract expires next month but he is in the main event at WWE Night of Champions. Does this mean he'll sign an extension?
Chris Jericho's contract does indeed expire next month; however, he has been working with WWE officials on a new deal for the past couple of months and is very close to signing an extension. In fact, he may have already signed an extension. Jericho spoke openly about his contract status in an interview last month.
Have you heard any details on Monday's 900th episode of Raw? Are there any big returns planned past superstars returning for one night only?
Not much has been made available. Talent from both shows is booked for the 900th Raw and I would expect footage from the previous 899 episodes to air in segments throughout the broadcast. It is a regular 2-hour broadcast, not a 3-hour special as some had speculated. As for any big returns, I haven't heard of any but some interesting news has surfaced about Triple H.
Do you think Shawn Michaels will ever return to WWE?
Anything is possible but I think it's highly unlikely. Shawn Michaels is enjoying retirement and the time at home with his wife and children. I could see Michaels returning to the company one day in an executive position but I think the days of Shawn as an active in-ring performer are over.
I've read many times that Mickie James had major backstage heat but can you tell us who she had heat from and why?
Mickie James rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, mostly because a relationship with John Cena that became public knowledge. WWE officials didn't feel she was focused on her career as a wrestler and many of the producers got on her for issues regarding her weight. For the record, I do not think Mickie had weight problems but Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko are crazy about Divas being extremely thin. I wasn't surprised in the slightest to hear of her release because of all of the heat.
How much would it hurt TNA if Team 3D jumps ship and signs with WWE?
I was told by a source earlier this week it would be very unlikely that Team 3D would ever re-sign with WWE due to a rocky past between Bubba and Triple H. Hunter made sure they were not re-signed years ago. They are currently negotiating with TNA officials regarding new contracts. We have more available for Premium Members at this link.
