Hey Richard, after watching Raw this past Monday it seems obvious that WWE is going to begin a feud between Kennedy and William Regal. My question is; does this mean that Kennedy will be working as a face now? I just find it strange that Kennedy was a heel before he was out of action and then when he returns he is a "good guy" all the sudden. Now it seems like Regal will be a dominant heel on Raw. Do you think it’s a bad move for Kennedy to be a face now?
From what I understand WWE is not doing a complete babyface turn for Kennedy right now. They are slowing him in the role to test the fan response. Whether or not it leads to a complete turn will really depend on the reactions that he receives. Regal is drawing a good amount of heel heat so he is going to be the heel in any program that he is involved in. As for it being a bad move, I am waiting to see what materializes before I pass judgment. If Kennedy gets over as a babyface it might be for the best. There was concern before bringing Kennedy back that he had lost a considerable amount of steam as a heel.
Hey guys, I have always wondered what the superstars do on their days off. Do they go home during the week when they are not taping?
Workers cannot wait to get home. As everyone knows, WWE is on the road a lot and whenever a worker is able to get some time off, they take full advantage of it. Several workers have told me that the hardest part of the job is the time that they are away from their families.
Hey Richard, what is the deal with The Undertaker being stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on SmackDown this past Friday?
I have literally received 100s of emails about this. I asked around after the angle was taped last week and was told that the original angle was for Vickie Guerrero's decision to hold up. However, I have not been notified of the future of this particular angle. There has been talk of moving Undertaker to Raw although I have a hard time believing that WWE would make such a move. Once I learn more, I will post a complete update. Nonetheless this is WWE's latest cliffhanger.
Hey Richard, do you know if WWE plans on doing any gimmick matches at their One Night Stand pay-per-view next month?
There has been talk of every match having the "extreme rules" stipulation. I am not sure if that will hold up but more than one person has told me that was the plan.
