Do you see Kennedy going to TNA after being released from WWE?
Without a doubt there is going to be interest within TNA about signing Kennedy. Kennedy actually worked some tryout matches for TNA and was approached by Jeff Jarrett about signing but a deal never got done. With Kennedy now being established and virtually no where left to go in the mainstream, I think there's a good possibility he could end up in Orlando. I haven't heard for sure but I would imagine he has a 90-day non-compete agreement included in his WWE contract.
What is your opinion of Kennedy getting released? I find it strange that it was such a swift release and they didn't even wait a week to see how he was doing, which according to his video is just fine.
I am just as surprised as everyone else about the release of Kennedy. I was told moments after his release was announced his shoulder was worse than expected and WWE didn't want to go through him missing more action. I'm sure more will be learned about his release as he seems to be taking to the Internet rather quickly by setting up Facebook pages and a Twitter profile. I'll have more in the Premium section regarding the backstage reaction to his release later in the week.
Do you have any news on the whereabouts of Sim Snuka? He has not been seen on Raw since January.
There is a rumor going around that Sim Snuka has backstage heat in WWE. He was given an announcer tryout several months ago but apparently it didn't work out. WWE used him at WrestleMania to take the spot from the Undertaker but he hasn't been seen since. Snuka has been on the company chopping block before and I wouldn't be surprised if he's back on it now.
My question is about Drew McIntyre. Whatever happened to that guy? I read that he's still with the company albeit in FCW. Are there any plans to bring him back to WWE television?
Drew McIntyre worked this weekend's house show tour with the SmackDown/ECW tour so there could be plans to bring him up to the main WWE roster soon. WWE likes to bring developmental workers up through ECW so we'll see what happens.
