When a wrestler or new angle is being developed, I often hear people say that crowd reactions often dictate how much of a push it/they receive. I find that hard to believe when Khali gets put in the main event and people far more deserving are left behind. Does Vince really take his fans opinions seriously or are we doomed to suffer through his big man fetish forever?
A lot does depend on crowd reactions but the reason why WWE continues to push The Great Khali is because of a couple of things. Vince McMahon is high up on Khali because of his extraordinary size as well as his overwhelming popularity to the international audience. Khali is the face of India and that is appealing to WWE officials because the company is still striving to become dominant in every country. Furthermore I have been told by numerous WWE sources that people within the company feel that if anyone can get a good program out of Khali it is Triple H. While I do not agree apparently WWE officials are willing to take the gamble on the biggest pay-per-view of the summer.
What do you think the chances are we ever see a ladder/ steel cage match for the women's title in WWE? Weren't we supposed to see one at Night of Champions or SummerSlam?
There was talk about doing the first ever divas ladder match earlier this summer but for whatever reason the plans were scrapped. I think that eventually we will see a WWE Divas ladder match but I have not heard anything about a steel cage match. Anything is possible but I think that they will do the ladder match before the steel cage match. I would expect one or two divas matches to be added to SummerSlam but I have not heard whether or not they will be gimmick matches.
What do you think the chances are of Jeff Hardy winning the WWE title by WrestleMania 25?
I do not think that the chances are good that Jeff Hardy will win the WWE Championship by WrestleMania 25 because he has two Wellness Policy strikes against him. Remember if Hardy fails one more test than he is fired from the company. In order for Hardy to receive such a push he would have to completely rebuild the trust of WWE officials. Before Hardy was suspended back in March he was in the midst of the biggest push of his career and while many looked at it as a mistake, it doesn't change the fact that he is one failure away from being finished in WWE. Anything is possible but I just do not see it happening unless Hardy can prove without a reasonable doubt that he will never fail another Wellness test.
I see WWE giving Adamle his big chance because perhaps his horrible announcing has been nothing more than a cheap way to get heat on him. Do you see Adamle coming out next week and saying his bad commentary has been a joke all along and now the "real" Adamle is taking over?
I could see that happening, however, I am open to see anything happen as long as he is out as the ECW play-by-play man. I am excited because I can actually watch ECW now without the volume muted. I think that everyone should give Adamle a shot in the General Manager's role before they dismiss it just because Adamle was such a terrible play-by-play man.
