MVP's Future, Flair/Blood, Non-Compete, Undertaker
Written by Richard Gray on Jun 2, 2009 - 11:29:30 AM
Since WWE put Kofi Kingston over MVP on Raw do you see them starting the push of MVP as a main eventer?
As I speculated in my Raw report from last night, it looks like WWE took the United States Championship off of MVP to push him in the top of the card. The spot that was intended for Kennedy may very well go to MVP. WWE officials have been pleased with the response MVP has received and as long as he can keep his ego in check he continues to have a bright future. I'll be talking more about this in today's WNW Premium Mailbag.
I just got finished watching Raw and noticed Ric Flair was bleeding. I recalled reading an article where WWE, with its new PG rating, has eliminated blood from its matches. I was not only surprised to see how violent the Fight to the Finish match turned out to be, under the PG rating, and to see blood! So, my question is, was Flair cut or will WWE keep using blood in some of their matches?
I'm pretty sure Ric Flair was busted open hardway. WWE is not promoting blood in their matches and have even went as far as editing stuff that airs on WWE Classics that includes blood. There are pictures of the Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair "Fight to the Finish" last night on the official WWE website and the ones with blood are black and white. And remember, it wasn't a match;).
If the WWE is the one who fires a wrestler, why is there a 90 day non-compete clause?
The 90 day non-compete agreement is included in most contracts. The worker enters into the contract with the clause attached to it, knowing when it is terminated they will have to wait 90 days before working for another organization. Once the worker signs the contract, they agree to the terms it discloses.
What has happened to The Undertaker? Is he injured or taking time off?
The Undertaker has been taking time off to rest his knees and recently had arthroscopic surgery on his hip. Undertaker's knees have been bothering him for quite some time and he's needed to take some time off to rest them. He also needed to have the procedure to clean up his hip.
