Mysterio Unmasked, Announcers, Masters, Kendrick, SD

Written by Richard Gray on Jun 5, 2009 - 11:41:01 AM

Will Rey Mysterio be unmasked anytime soon?

I haven't heard of any plans for Rey Mysterio to be unmasked. I know they have teased it in his program with Chris Jericho but I haven't heard of it actually happening. WCW tried Mysterio unmasked and it failed.

I read on WNW that WWE is looking for a new announcer. Why is WWE doing this? Are they replacing one of the announcers on the brands? And if so, who will they be replacing?

WWE has had a job listing for a new announcer for as long as I can remember. Apparently the company is always looking for new announcing talent. As for someone getting replaced, there are no plans to shakeup the teams at this time.

If Chris Masters gets another Wellness strike does it start over or will WWE terminate him?

If what I heard actually happens and Chris Masters returns to WWE, I am under the impression he will have two Wellness Policy strikes and will be on a very short leash. Please remember we do not have 100% confirmation Masters is returning as he has yet to respond to a message I left him yesterday afternoon.

Do you have any news on The Brian Kendrick's new partner? I was thinking that it might be Jamie Noble.

Apparently WWE is going to keep rotating partners for Brian Kendrick in a mid-card angle of sorts. Jamie Noble worked as Kendrick's partner on last night's edition of WWE Superstars.

My question is do you think WWE should move SmackDown to live on Thursday nights and move WWE Superstars to Wednesday nights or would this be a long shot ?

The WWE television schedule isn't changing anytime soon. I'm surprised WWE didn't move SmackDown back to Thursday nights when they signed with MyNetworkTV. As for SmackDown airing live, I do not look for that to happen either. It is not cost effective to do live TV two times a week and with the current state of the economy, WWE isn't going to do anything that is going to cost more.
