Do you see CM Punk turning heel in order to give him more momentum for his MITB shot using his straightedge gimmick of I'm better than you. After all he did receive a fair bit of heat against Chris Jericho.
I think that they are going to have to eventually turn CM Punk heel. According to a number of sources that I have talked too there has been a lot of concern that CM Punk is not over enough. After being booed in his matches against Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho on Raw it is obvious that something is going to have to done. So to answer your question, yes I do see WWE turning CM Punk heel in order to try and give him more momentum. Also there is a good chance that he will end up a heel on the Raw brand.
I would just like to compliment you on the "Richard Reacts" feature. This is one of the features that puts WNW above the rest! On Raw, I felt that they mocked The Rock and Hogan with the two presidential candidates using their respective themes and gimmicks. I'm offended that the WWE did something like this to two of the best of all time......are you as a wrestling fan offended? And do you think Rock/Hogan would have been offended if they saw it? What are your thoughts?
First of all thanks for your compliment on the Richard Reacts feature, I started doing it because so many websites copy and paste everything that we report so I felt like by adding the feature it would make us stand out from all of the NEWZ websites out there. There are only about a handful of wrestling websites out there that are legitimate, all the rest feature copy and paste news that was written by someone else. I have always been against putting opinion in news posts, however, by adding the Richard Reacts feature to the bottom of news posts, it gives readers the option to read it or not. As for your question, no I was not offended. I understand that the match was done as a parody which means that it was meant to be funny. While the crowd was pretty dead throughout, I actually thought that there were some funny parts. You have to admit that Bill Clinton was pretty dead on. I doubt neither Rock nor Hogan got offended by the match if they even saw it. If they did there is nothing they can do as WWE owns the rights to the theme music.
Can you give us your thoughts on the booking on Raw this past Monday? Good or bad?
I think that creative did a good job with MVP vs. Chris Jericho and CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy in the first round. Although I did not like how they booked MVP to tap out against Jericho as I feel that it made him look weak before his title defense on Sunday. I thought Punk vs. Hardy was good for what it was as they booked a good finish. As for the bottom half of the bracket featuring Finlay vs. The Great Khali and William Regal vs. Hornswoggle, I thought it was a train wreck. I have never had any training as a professional wrestler but I guarantee you that I could work better than Khali. He had one spot to sell in his match against Finlay on a dropkick and made it look terrible. The finish was stupid with Khali getting counted out and then having him back away from Big Show. Regal beating Hornswoggle was a mockery of the King of the Ring tournament and I wish that I could explain why WWE would book such a match. As for the semi-finals match between Jericho and CM Punk, I thought it was the match of the night from a wrestling perspective. They both worked well although it was short. Regal beating an "injured" Finlay sucked and did nothing to help either one. The finals was way too short and they completely devalued Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho by having Punk tap out to the guy that beat a midget and an "injured" Finlay to get in the finals. WWE had a chance to put on a good display of wrestling in the King of the Ring tournament and in my opinion they completely destroyed something that was once considered an honor to win. If they wanted to have a tournament featuring silly angles they should have named it something else.
Since Ultimate Warrior returned to wrestling in the NWE, do you think Ultimate Warrior will ever return or be in a WWE ring again?
Are you serious? There are not too many things in professional wrestling that I can say 100% are not going to happen, however, this is something that I can guarantee you will never happen. Warrior will NEVER and I mean NEVER return to WWE. Also Warrior has not wrestled yet, he just appeared.
