Punk's Future, TNA & Playboy, Big Show, More
Written by Richard Gray on Jul 28, 2009 - 10:57:39 AM
Following WWE Night of Champions, where does this leave CM Punk?
CM Punk is going to be billed as a top heel on SmackDown. Punk is very over with the WWE office as they are thrilled with his heel delivery. Losing the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions does not mean they are demoting him to the mid-card. Punk is expected to continue to work in the top of the card on SmackDown.
My question is about the new deal TNA has with Playboy. I have read before that Victoria, now known as Tara, was interested in posing for the bunny mag but WWE never asked her. Now that there is this deal with TNA do you think she will get a shot?
I haven't heard those rumors but I'm sure the company will recommend which Knockout they want to be featured by the magazine and obviously Playboy will make the final decision. Traci Brooks' issue is expected to come out in October. So Cal Val is another Knockout that has expressed interest in posing for the adult magazine.
I was watching Raw last night and I saw Big Show with new attire. It looked like he borrowed it from Jack Swagger it was way too small. Is the attire change part of his tag title reign?
Big Show debuted the new ring gear at Night of Champions when he was revealed as Chris Jericho's mystery partner. They also gave his submission hold the name the Colossal Clutch. No word as to why they changed Show's gear, maybe they want to try and hide some of the weight he's put on.
If the WWE is the one who fires a wrestler, why is there a 90 day non-compete clause?
The 90 day non-compete agreement is included in most contracts. The worker enters into the contract with the clause attached to it, knowing when it is terminated they will have to wait 90 days before working for another organization. Once the worker signs the contract, they agree to the terms it discloses.
