Finally CM Punk has been given the push he deserves. What is next for him?
CM Punk has been given the opportunity of a lifetime because regardless of how he won it – he is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. From what I had originally heard, it was not believed that Punk was going to hold the title for any length of time, although now some people are saying that he could hold on to it longer than expected. Based off advanced house show advertisements, WWE is teasing a potential feud between Punk and Batista. I wouldn't be surprised if Punk defends in a triple-threat against John Cena and JBL at The Great American Bash. Right now we're in that waiting period to see if WWE is going to treat Punk like a credible World Champion or if they are going to flip the title the first chance they get. I guess it all comes down to how much confidence WWE has in the Cookie Monster.
Do you think that William Regal will get the same push he had before his 60-day suspension when he returns? Will he even return to Raw?
It would not surprise me if Regal's push is resumed based on what happened with Jeff Hardy, however, I have not heard any details regarding his return or how it will happen. It is interesting to note that Regal's suspension expires on the night of The Great American Bash so they could always have him return at the pay-per-view. If not, he would be eligible for the following week's TVs.
Why in the world does Rey Mysterio wear those goofy contacts? His eyes really look weird. I don't remember him using them a while ago.
He's worn them for a long time now – it's all just part of his gimmick.
On Raw, Cryme Tyme came out into the ring with John Cena to fend off JBL's security. Do you think there may be something more going on here or do you think it was just a random pairing and we probably won't see it again?
I think that it was just a one-time deal to give John Cena someone to combat JBL's security with. However, I have heard that Cryme Tyme is in for a push as a babyface tag team on Raw.
