R-Truth's Push, Hart vs. McMahon, Lita, Booker T/WWE
Written by Richard Gray on Feb 5, 2010 - 11:02:32 AM
Why did WWE officials suddenly push R-Truth to the main event picture? I am very surprised about it.
As I reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium, R-Truth is getting a push on Smackdown because of the large reaction he receives at live shows. WWE officials are still hesitant about his in-ring work but the reactions he draws at live shows have given them no choice despite the fact it hasn't been translating well on TV. A lot of what happens in this business is based on crowd reactions and R-Truth is over.
With them having John Cena and Batista involved with the Bret Hart-Vince McMahon feud, do you see it ending up being a tag team match at Wrestlemania, John Cena & Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon & Batista?
It looks like this could indeed be the direction WWE is taking. Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon in a singles match depended completely on Bret Hart's health, so if he cannot go (which it seems like he can't), they'll add Cena and Batista in the match as they were considering doing that as a singles match anyways.
Where is Lita (Amy Dumas) these days?
Amy is still performing with her band and she was recently dating CM Punk. I haven't heard if they're still together but this is why she was backstage at shows several months ago.
Where is Booker T now? Will he return to WWE?
Negotiations between Booker T and WWE broke off yet again thus leaving Booker to accept dates on the independent circuit. Booker wants to work a light schedule; company officials want him to work a full schedule.
