Killings, MITB Winner, Angle's Comments, Hardy Leaving?

Written by Richard Gray on Mar 13, 2008 - 4:23:42 PM

Having heard of Chris Harris debut this week, is there any follow up on Ron Killings and a possible debut for him?

I was told that Ron Killings would join WWE after he fulfilled his dates with AAA in Mexico after WrestleMania. Although now there are reports out that WWE told him not to work the dates. I’m not completely sure of that situation but I would say that it is likely that Killings will be coming to WWE after WrestleMania. Harris really hasn’t debuted; he just worked a dark match. I would say Killings will work some dark matches before they bring him in as well.

With Jeff Hardy out, who do you feel like is the favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania?

I think you could make a case for any of the competitors but my early pick would be Chris Jericho. He seems like the most likely person to get a title shot in the year; however that could change a thousand times from now. We’ll know much more as WrestleMania gets closer.

I love my premium membership and the site in general. I have a question on why the talent that leaves or gets fired from WWE tend to talk bad about the company that made them the stars they are? For example I just read that Kurt Angle was shooting on Triple H and HBK and then took a shot a Vince. The reason I think TNA even wanted Kurt was because of his run in the WWE. So what is your thought on the subject?

Thank you so much for your support of Wrestling News World! I’m glad that you brought this up because Kurt Angle gets on my nerves as well with his comments. Most of Kurt’s ridiculous comments are because he is trying to put TNA over so some of his comments are actually a work. However, there is some legitimate resentment from Angle because of how his WWE run ended. Everyone acts like Angle left WWE under his terms which was not the case. Basically Vince McMahon released him because he was concerned for Angle’s overall well-being. But I think it’s human nature to talk badly about a former employer because so much frustration builds up while you’re there and you basically have to keep your comments to yourself while under contract.

Could you see Jeff Hardy leaving WWE?

Yes, especially if WWE reserves their right to suspend him indefinitely to get him to try and take part in a rehab program. I am told that Hardy does not feel like he has a problem and would leave the company before he went to rehab.
