Sim Snuka, Teddy Hart, Morrison's Future, Crossface
Written by Richard Gray on May 5, 2009 - 1:58:45 PM
I was wondering where is Sim Snuka?
The last time Sim Snuka appeared on WWE television is when he worked as a stunt cameraman at WrestleMania to take the spot from Undertaker. He has not been used since as there is nothing for him. We heard a couple of months ago he was given a tryout as a play-by-play guy but it doesn't look like anything became of that. Snuka has already been on the company chopping block and sadly could end up back there if no creative plans are reached for him.
Do you ever see Teddy Hart getting another chance in WWE?
Given Teddy's past problems with his attitude, I don't foresee him getting another shot in WWE developmental. I hate to say never in this business but I would be surprised if they took a chance on him again. Teddy is a tremendous talent but the problems with his attitude have limited him.
After watching SmackDown last week and his run-in with Chris Jericho backstage do you see WWE giving John Morrison a run as a face or even better a main eventer?
The current plan is to build John Morrison as a babyface and eventually establish him as a main event worker. Company officials do not want to rush it and as I reported last week on Wrestling News World Premium, they pulled him from the Scramble match that was scheduled for last week's show in order to give him more time. Morrison has a very bright future in WWE.
My question is regarding Chris Benoit's finisher, the submission hold he called the Crippler Crossface. When he used it, it was devastating and in most cases his opponent would tap out. After his death I've seen a couple of wrestlers, like HHH and HBK, use it as if it was a head lock or a figure four hold with no results.
Hunter and Shawn have used the hold to show everyone else it is alright to use but I don't think anyone wants to use it as their finisher for obvious reasons. Seriously, if you were a worker, would you want that as your finisher? I sure as heck would come up with something else.
