Snitsky, WWE PPVs, Angle's Arrest, Hardy/TNA, Finlay

Written by Richard Gray on Aug 17, 2009 - 10:31:45 AM

Do you have any updates on the whereabouts of Snitsky?

Gene Snitsky has been working the independent scene and was looking for work with TNA Wrestling several months ago. Snitsky was recently banged up in a car accident but from everything I've heard he's OK.

I think WWE has too many pay-per-views and have no time to build good storylines. So, do you think WWE should take away some of the PPVs?

I would not be against WWE eliminating pay-per-views where there are two a month. One a month is plenty as two a month means we are getting virtually the same matches with different stipulations or gimmicks. I haven't heard anything about WWE cutting back their schedule but wouldn't be surprised if they scrapped one of the gimmick pay-per-views.

I was just wondering how you feel about Kurt Angle being arrested before Hard Justice?

I haven't heard the whole story but I'll say it is certainly bizarre. If Angle did physically abuse Rhaka Khan, he deserves to pay the penalty through the justice system. We'll see what happens but from everything I have heard Angle and Khan have a very volatile relationship. If you listen to Angle in media interviews it doesn't take long to determine that he's not all there.

What are the odds of Jeff Hardy returning to TNA after SummerSlam?

Anything is possible but I think Jeff Hardy will take time away from the wrestling business. Hardy didn't leave TNA on the best of terms and certainly doesn't want to hurt his standing with Vince McMahon when he comes back to WWE.

What role does Finlay have backstage?

Finlay works as a producer backstage and works with the Divas. He is involved in creative team meetings as well.
