Sting's Future, Orton's Music, Edge, Jeff Hardy

Written by Richard Gray on Sep 1, 2009 - 9:09:33 AM

I was wondering is Sting leaving TNA or did he receive a contract extension?

Sting's current TNA contract is up in the later part of this year. Based on the advertisements for TNA Bound For Glory, the company is billing the event as his final show ever. It appears he will retire after their big pay-per-view later this year, however, Sting has said he was going to leave over the past couple of years and has ended up signing extensions.

What is the name of the band that plays Randy Orton's entrance theme?

The band is called Rev Theory and the song is called "Voices". The song was recorded just for the use as Orton's WWE entrance theme.

How is Edge doing? Is there any news on when he might be returning and if he will be a face or heal?

The last I heard from Edge he was backstage at SummerSlam a couple of weeks ago on crutches. His injury is serious and there is still no timetable for his return. As for him returning as a babyface or a heel, there are no plans either way at this time. They did tease him as a babyface when they first separated him and Chris Jericho.

Hi Richard, you mentioned that everyone feels that Jeff Hardy will be back after taking several months off. If he just wanted time off, why not just give him time off, while still under contract, instead of him being let go for the time being. This is what they did with Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker earlier this year.

Jeff Hardy's situation was different because his contract was coming up. Hardy wanted to take time off without any obligation to do anything. Both Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker were obligated to return because they were still under contract. Hardy is free to take as much time off as he wants without any obligation to return.
