As you reported yesterday that Team 3D's contract is expiring next month, what are the chances of them returning to the WWE?
From what I have heard TNA and Team 3D are negotiating a new deal, however, there is still a possibility that they could test out the market and see what promotion provides them with the best opportunity. There is certainly a chance that Team 3D could end up back in WWE, however, I am not sure at this time how good of a chance. WWE does not have much of a tag division so whether or not that will factor into their decision remains to be seen.
Do you foresee Randy Orton interfering in a match at SummerSlam for his return, or do you think he is still a month or two off from returning?
I do not have an update on Randy Orton's condition at this time. A broken clavicle is a tricky injury because if one rushes back from it there is a very good chance that it will break again (example: Candice Michelle). About a month ago I talked to someone very close to Orton and they told me that he was adamant that he would be ready for SummerSlam, however, it does not look like he will be wrestling. It is certainly not out of the question that Orton could return at the pay-per-view although I have not heard anything either way. I will try to contact some of my sources close to Orton and provide an update.
Do you feel like WWE is completely repeating themselves with the World Tag Team Championship situation? We saw almost the exact same storyline as John Cena and Shawn Michaels took the belts off the promising heel team of Rated RKO before there big PPV match (WM23). Now it seems like we're re-watching the program with Batista and Cena defeating the young studs Rhodes and DiBiase for the same titles weeks before their blockbuster at SummerSlam. What's your take on this situation?
I thought that it was a very eye rolling creative call to have John Cena and Batista win the World Tag Team Championship. I noted in my Richard Reacts last night that I would not be surprised if there were backstage issues involving Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase based on how they were made to look like job guys last night despite being pushed so hard in recent weeks. I have not heard of any suspensions yet so maybe WWE wanted to put the straps on Cena and Batista in preparation for their SummerSlam match. I do not think that it makes any sense and it will be interesting to see what becomes of it.
I was just wondering do you think the "Hell In A Cell" match between Undertaker and Edge will put an end to their feud? And if so do you think Undertaker will be put into the title picture with Khali or Triple H? I remember reading that Undertaker and Triple H have some personal issues that would stop them from working together.
I was told that the preliminary plan was for Undertaker vs. Edge at SummerSlam to be a blow-off match and that the Undertaker would go on to be a main eventer on SmackDown. From what I understand Triple H and Undertaker have agreed to stay out of each others way and there is even a possibility that they could do a program together. Plans change all the time in WWE and they could always swerve and send Undertaker to Raw but the current word is that he will finish up with Edge and will stay on SmackDown.
