The Miz, What I Think Of The Rock, HBK/Batista, The Artist

Hello, first I would like to say that I love your site! It is the number one site that I visit for all my wrestling news! My question is about The Miz. I have followed Miz's career for a long time. I am ashamed to admit it, but I watched him on the Real World, and all the challenge shows after his season of Real World. After watching his match last night on ECW against CM Punk, I think he is getting much better in the ring, as I have followed him from the Indies to where he is today. I was wondering what you think the future holds for The Miz with the WWE, and do you think some time in the future he could have a title run either on ECW, or SmackDown?
Thank you for the kind words regarding the site, they are greatly appreciated. I agree that The Miz has greatly improved in the ring as well. As for his future in WWE I feel like that he is already making considerable strides as a current title holder in WWE. Only time will tell if he will ever challenge for a World title, while I am not going to say that it is impossible, it is very unlikely that he is going to receive such a push anytime in the near future. Nonetheless he is improving and that is definitely a good thing if you are a fan of The Miz.
What are your thoughts on The Rock, oh sorry, I mean Dwayne Johnson? I personally think that The Rock is a sellout to the wrestling fans that made him.
I have a lot of respect for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This is really a double edged sword. If it were not for WWE, The Rock probably would have never made it in the movie business. However, if it were not for The Rock, WWE probably would have been put out of business by World Championship Wrestling. The argument could go on for days that Johnson should have more to do with wrestling but I feel like he has done enough. He had a great career and entertained millions. Now he is doing something that he loves, working a much better schedule, and is making a lot of money. I am not going to say something bad about someone that is following their dream. Would I like to see The Rock wrestle again? Of course, but I am not going to condemn him for having success outside of the wrestling business. We as fans should not be selfish and should be grateful for what The Rock did for this business.
Do you think that WWE has made a mistake in the way they are booking the Shawn Michaels and Batista feud? Whilst it is an excellent idea and other face-face feuds such as Batista and Undertaker have worked recently, both seem to be drawing negative reactions from some fans. After SmackDown, I thought they may go with a Michaels heel turn but then RAW made me think the opposite. Unless one of them starts bad mouthing Ric Flair or draws lots of heat some other way, how do you see this playing out?
It is far too early in the feud to determine whether or not WWE has made a mistake. I was told that there are plans for an eventual Shawn Michaels heel turn. Obviously the crowd reactions that the angle draws until Backlash will determine whether or not that happens. I agree that WWE has to be careful with face-face feuds, although I do think that it is a good thing to capitalize off of Michaels retiring Ric Flair. I thought that WWE should have done something with Umaga and Batista first, however, they wanted to go in this direction and we'll have to see how it plays out.
I want to start off by saying great job on the site and I love my Premium Membership. I was looking on WWE.com and I was looking at the title history. There was a wrestler named "The Artist" who won the Cruiserweight Title in 2000. I never heard of him.
Thanks for the kind words and I am thrilled that you are enjoying your WNW Premium Membership! The Artist's real name is Michael Haynes and he is probably better known under the nickname Prince Iaukea. He worked in World Championship Wrestling in the cruiserweight division for six years. He was not retained by WWE when Vince McMahon purchased WCW.
