Title Situation, TNA's Ratings, Beth Phoenix Over Santino

With ECW moving to Raw in September and with the WWE Tag Titles and the United States Title on ECW. Do you see Matt Hardy and Miz and Morrison dropping the titles, so workers like Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, and Jeff Hardy can compete for a title on SmackDown?

I think that it is important to note how the decision to pair ECW with Raw has been pushed back so many times. This could be an indication that they could choose not the change the schedule. If they do, I would expect the title situation to work itself out through storylines over the next couple of months.

I saw a video on Kurt Angle saying how he thought TNA would beat SmackDown in ratings by the end of the year (which obviously will not happen). What do you think TNA needs to do to achieve that goal?

The first thing that TNA needs to do is reorganize their creative team. Whether it's fire Vince Russo or just get him some assistance, they need to write better programming. Then I think the focus needs to be placed on marketing. At this point I do not think that a particular superstar coming into the company can help improve their ratings. It has to be done through better booking, storylines, and marketing.

Why in the world did Santino lose to Beth? Maybe it was a bit funny but come on! That's humiliating, don't you think?

I may take some heat for this but I do not think that Santino doing a job to Beth Phoenix is really that humiliating. Santino is a great talker and I think that it's understood that he can do jobs and still get over because of his work on the mic. I do not think that Santino has bad in-ring skills although they will never match his mic skills. Santino is basically a glorified job guy on Raw because he can talk. The Santino character has already been pretty devalued with the numerous amount of jobs that he has done before Beth Phoenix. Losing to Beth is just comedy.

Why did WWE take the Women's Title off of Beth Phoenix in the first place?

Beth Phoenix dropped the Women's Championship as punishment because of an incident that occurred at an overseas house show back in April. I was told that she put her hands on guest referee Val Venis, spinning him around to get heat, and when she got to the back the agents were furious because she did not sell intimidation. Fast forward three months and Beth returns to Raw with a win over a male on the Raw roster. How's that for selling intimidation?
