TNA's Expectations, Hart & 1/4, Tajiri, Rumble Build

What ratings number would the live edition of Impact on Monday night have to pull for it to be considered a success?
I would think TNA is hoping to do at least a 2.0 cable rating in the 9 to 11 PM timeslot (the first hour always brings down WWE Raw so I'm assuming it might be lower for TNA as well). They routinely average numbers 1.0 and greater, but they are obviously hoping to improve that with a live show and the draw of Hulk Hogan. If the number does not move much from the 1.0 cable rating I would consider it a failure. Should it drop below a 1.0 I would consider it an epic failure.
I have been keeping a close eye on the Bret Hart story and have noticed that J.R. keeps mentioning him as a guest host for the Jan. 4 Raw in Dayton. I will be at that show and am wondering if there is anything I should be looking forward to?
I know that WWE officials want Bret Hart to guest host the January 4th edition of Raw in Dayton, Ohio, however, I have not heard if it will happen. Hart has reportedly agreed to a deal so it seems likely to happen, but nothing is official. Employees within the company remain mum regarding the status of Hart saying that rumors about Hart coming in got started when Jim Neidhart was at Titan Towers in Stamford doing interviews for the forthcoming Hart Foundation DVD set.
What has Tajiri been doing since he left WWE?
Tajiri is serving as the "producer" for the pro wrestling division of the SMASH promotion in Japan. We ran the story earlier this month that you can still read at this link.
Why is it that the WWE has not even started promoting Royal Rumble? For two weeks they haven't said one word about one of their major PPVs.
The feeling is there will be four weeks in the New Year to build the pay-per-view and that is more than enough time. With the holidays WWE has used the past couple weeks of TV as "throwaway", giving the pay-per-view promotional machine a break before they begin the push towards Royal Rumble and the beginning of the road to Wrestlemania. However, Monday's Raw was inexcusably bad and with the horrible Monday Night Football game, I ended up watching the movie Carriers on DVD. If you want to watch a scary movie, I recommend it. Being as this is my occupation I rarely miss a WWE show (I at least watch the tape if I miss it live) but I see no reason to watch the tape of what I didn't see on Monday's Raw. I turned the show off after the DX court room segment. I mean, come on, if you continued to watch past that you have to be a dedicated fan (thank you to Kendra and Luke who are awesome and watched it for their work!).
