I was wondering why Kennedy and Umaga are on the roster for SmackDown vs. Raw 2010?
Apparently their releases were after the cutoff for WWE to finalize the rosters. I understand they have made changes such as Batista to SmackDown rather than Raw but apparently that's a different process. Jeff Hardy, who is now gone from the company, will also be in the videogame.
Have you heard anything about the WWE reaching out to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson or Steve Austin in regards to hosting Raw as a special guest? Do you think these two legends would accept or decline the offer?
I haven't heard anything but I wouldn't be surprised as Steve Austin does have a movie coming out relatively soon. I'm sure WWE would reach out to both but whether or not they would accept would be a different story. Austin told people at WrestleMania that would be his final appearance on WWE television ever and he was moving on with his acting career. Dwayne Johnson wants to distance himself from wrestling as much as possible although the company still wants him for WrestleMania.
What was your opinion of The Brian Kendrick in WWE (in his last gimmick)? Do you think he will return to WWE sometime down the road?
I was high up on the work of Brian Kendrick and felt like his gimmick had potential. Vince McMahon is known for giving up on gimmicks too soon as Kendrick kind of fell out of favor because of his size. McMahon pushes workers based on look more than in-ring ability which is what led to his release. As for a return anything is possible although there is no interest at this time.
Since Batista is now on SmackDown do you think it's unlikely that The Undertaker will win the title?
I do not think it's unlikely at all. Actually I think a babyface vs. babyface feud between Batista and The Undertaker would draw big should WWE go in that direction.
It's been some time since Joey Styles hasn't honored us with his sensitive, measured political opinions (note sarcasm) on Twitter. Has the WWE threatened with firing him if he didn't quit saying those things?
I doubt WWE threatened Joey's rights of freedom of speech on his personal Twitter account. I'm not sure why he hasn't posted any politically-charged comments lately but he probably just doesn't want backlash from fans. Vince McMahon's political views are actually similar to Styles as he is also dislikes President Barack Obama's policies.
