With WrestleMania WWE's flagship pay-per-view and Bound for Glory TNA's flagship pay-per-view, what was the flagship pay-per-view for WCW? What was their biggest event of the year?
WCW's biggest pay-per-view event of the year was called Starrcade. The event started in 1983 under the National Wrestling Alliance and was held at the end of November for the first five years. Beginning in 1988 the event was held at the end of December. It was first broadcast as a pay-per-view in 1987. From 1997 until 2000 (the final Starrcade ever) the event was held at what is known today as the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The pay-per-view was scrapped when Vince McMahon purchased World Championship Wrestling in 2001.
If you could choose one diva (past or present) to go on a date with, who would it be?
This might be the hardest question that I have ever been asked. There are so many of the divas that I find very attractive and feel would be very pleasant to go out with. With that being said it would probably be Mickie James. I say this not because she is the most attractive diva ever but because she seems like that she would be a lot of fun to go out with. She reminds me of the type of girl that would be happy doing just about anything and would have a good time doing it.
I understand the penalty for first-time offenders of the WWE Wellness Program is a 30-day suspension. Jeff Hardy has been suspended for 60 days but I don't recall him violating the policy any other time before so I was hoping you could clear this up for me.
Jeff Hardy's first Wellness violation was back in August when WWE played it off that he was sent home because of injuries. Before November 2007, all Wellness Violations were not made public. One more suspension and Jeff Hardy will be terminated.
Hey Richard, I love the site. I know you have gotten a lot of questions about Ric Flair, but this one has been lingering in my mind for a while. Do you think that there is any possibility that Flair will win at WrestleMania one last time and retire the next night on RAW (either lose or announce he is retiring)or will they have him lose on the grandest stage of them all?
Thanks for the compliment on the site! I think that anything is possible, especially with WWE. While the plan for several weeks has been for Ric Flair to lose to Shawn Michaels and retire from active competition, there is always a possibility that the outcome could change. From everything that I have heard I believe that he will lose to Michaels, although nothing is ever 100% until it actually happens.
