Where's Kane, Low Ratings, Tag Teams, Kidman
Written by Richard Gray on Jun 4, 2009 - 10:20:31 AM
Where is Kane and why hasn't he been used on SmackDown?
As I reported last weekend on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium, Kane has been given time off from WWE. He should be back soon as the time off is nothing more than routine rest.
What do you think are the reasons of low SmackDown ratings?
There are a lot of factors that affect television ratings. If I knew the exact reason why SmackDown was drawing below a 2.0 rating, WWE would probably hire me as a consultant. I can tell you it has to deal with the show being taped, competition and the fact Fridays are the least watched night of television of the week. It probably hasn't helped with The Undertaker being out either. I think SmackDown is strong right now with the talent compiled on the brand.
Do workers have say as far as who they form tag teams with (Miz and Morrison, Kendrick and London, Hart Dynasty), or does management just put the teams together and depending on who they are they are just hoping for a push? Does the same apply to valets and managers?
The pairing of tag teams as well as wrestlers and valets/managers are up to the WWE Creative team. The workers can always make suggestions but at the end of the day decisions such as this are made by Creative.
My question is whatever happened to Billy Kidman and do you ever see him returning to WWE or going to TNA?
Billy Kidman is a trainer for WWE's official developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, Florida.
