Who I'd Date, Single Brand PPVs, Taker's New Submission

Written by Richard Gray on Apr 8, 2008 - 8:16:25 PM

Note from Richard: I apologize for this being so late as I am out of town and currently traveling. This is not a new installment of Ask WNW but is a special retro edition featuring questions from past installments of Ask WNW mixed into one edition. I will be back tomorrow with a new update of Ask WNW. Thanks for understanding!

If you could choose one diva (past or present) to go on a date with, who would it be?

This might be the hardest question that I have ever been asked. There are so many of the divas that I find very attractive and feel would be very pleasant to go out with. With that being said it would probably be Mickie James. I say this not because she is the most attractive diva ever but because she seems like that she would be a lot of fun to go out with. She reminds me of the type of girl that would be happy doing just about anything and would have a good time doing it.

Do you think WWE should go back to single branded PPVs (this will give more mid-carders to step up their game) or just cut back on the number of PPVs?

I don’t think WWE should do either. The single branded pay-per-views in my opinion were very limited and not worth the price. If I am paying $40 for a pay-per-view event I don’t care to see a mid-carder get a chance to step up their game. I want the best that the company has to offer at the current point in time and guarantee that most readers will agree. When WWE switched to single branded PPVs, I knew it wouldn’t last long, and I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did. I also do not think that WWE should cut down on PPV broadcasts. In today’s day and age I think the more pay-per-views, the better. While we can’t always have an event that is WrestleMania quality, I think it’s important that WWE keep up the pace with the UFC.

What is The Undertaker’s new submission move?

The new submission finisher that The Undertaker is now using is known as the Gogoplata Choke. It is a legitimate chokehold used in Mixed Martial Arts and is basically a variation of the triangle choke in that you are on your back and wrap your one leg out and around your opponent’s shoulder and then back under his chin and then pull his head down across your shin with your hands. As you have seen with The Undertaker, the maneuver is executed while lying on your back.

Who is on the selection panel for the WWE Hall of Fame?

I have heard several different names that have input but I am under the impression that most of who gets into the WWE Hall of Fame is up to Vince McMahon.
