I love the site and I'm always checking in. I heard you mention a while back that you were working on a WNW application for iPhones. How is this progressing and can you give us any indication of what will be included?
I'm pleased to announce the WrestlingNewsWorld.com application for the iPhone is in the final stages of development. The app will be free of charge and offer an easy way to view the updates on the website from your iPhone or iPod. After it is complete we will focus on developing a Blackberry application. We will have promotion all over the website when our application is released.
Were you surprised that Sgt. Slaughter was playing the heel role on Raw last night?
I am not surprised WWE had Sgt. Slaughter play the role of a heel on last night's show because the company was in Canada. It was a way to get some cheap heat on Slaughter, who was an obvious filler in between celebrity guest hosts.
How do you feel about DeGeneration X returning?
After the disastrous way WWE brought Shawn Michaels back to television last night I am not looking forward to the return of DX. Obviously the faction has potential to elevate Legacy and increase merchandise sales, not to mention setup a possible Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels match at WrestleMania but with WWE PG DeGeneration X is going to come off as watered down to most fans. The segments last night were not funny, came off fake and made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. Whoever wrote that Michaels superkick a little girl should be fired. It was not effective and was embarrassing to everyone in the company. I cannot believe Hunter and Shawn would go along with those segments.
Will Sean "X-Pac" Waltman ever return to WWE and possibly return to DX?
I do not see Sean Waltman returning to WWE. Sean has had a lot of problems and I do not see WWE taking a chance on him. I also do not think DX is going to be back as a long standing faction but something to lead into WWE's international tour in November possibly culminating with a Triple H heel turn.
