Is it just me or did Mickie James just win the WWE Women’s Championship out of the blue? It seems like WWE didn’t put anytime in building Beth/Mickie and just decided to do a title change. Is there more to the story on why Beth dropped the Women’s Title?
Yes there is more to Beth Phoenix dropping the WWE Women’s Championship; however, due to it being a sensitive issue we are keeping the story in our Premium area. We are doing this so the story does not get stolen by the thieves of the copy/paste websites that will sensationalize or misconstrue the story. My question is about William Regal. I come from Scotland and think he is great as GM of Raw, but due to the crowd reaction he was given (even though he was in England) during this week’s past Raw and the babyface role he played in his promo with JBL and his match with Randy Orton, is there any plans for him to become a babyface or was it just because Raw was in England?
William Regal just worked as a babyface because he was in his home country. This happens all of the time when wrestlers work in their hometowns. Ken Kennedy is a babyface when he works in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I used to love when WWE would go to Canada back in the popular days of the Hart Foundation.
Will we ever see Gregory Helms in WWE again?
Helms is training for a return to WWE but he is coming back from a very serious neck injury. The last I heard he was dealing with nerve issues which can be very tricky and unpredictable. Helms is determined to get back so hopefully his return will become a reality.
Do you think if Shane McMahon was in charge of creative and script writing in WWE, would things be any different?
No. While Stephanie McMahon is the head of WWE creative, Shane still has influence. Shane actually wrote all of the stuff between Big Show and Floyd Mayweather. A McMahon is a McMahon and it doesn’t matter if it’s Stephanie, Shane, or even Linda – Vince has the final say on everything.
