Workouts, Kennedy's Push, Raw GM, Viscera, Orton
Written by Richard Gray on Jul 25, 2008 - 1:00:04 PM
Hello Richard, first of all I, love, love, love the site. I was just wondering if the WWE Superstars train and or work out 3, 4, 5 times a week. When you look at guys like Triple H, John Cena, Batista, John Morrison etc they are in fantastic shape and I was just wondering if they work out all the time or just enough to maintain their look?
We love all of our loyal visitors - thank you so much for your support! While there is a lot of controversy how guys stay in such good shape, all of them work out a good bit. One of the first things that many workers do when they get to a town where they will be working a show is find a gym so that they can run through a workout. Time is limited so a worker may be limited to only 30 minutes but most have very strict routines that they can get through quick.
My question is what happened to Kennedys push he was suppose to get? To me it seems like he mid-carding, and for the most part jobbing, did he upset management somehow?
I am not sure what is going on with Kennedy in WWE. Ever since his setbacks (suspension and injury) from two monster pushes that were planned for him he has been pretty much an afterthought as a mid-carder. Hopefully things will turn around before WrestleMania but he has been getting over with the fans which is something I know that people in WWE have to realize.
Everybody was expecting a new general manager on last week's Raw. Why do you think that they did not assign a new one?
While I have not been told this, I have speculated that the show was heavily re-written just hours before it happened. A lot of last week's Raw just seemed like it was thrown together as several angles were not advanced. I would look for something to happen soon regarding a new Raw General Manager.
I was just wondering do you see Big Daddy V (Viscera) coming back after some sort of weight loss and if he does return do you think he should have a new gimmick (preferably a clothed one)?
The story that I was told on Big Daddy V was that he has been out because of a bout with pneumonia. I heard the rumor that WWE wanted him to lose weight but everyone that I asked about it said that there was not any truth to it. Big Daddy V was moved to SmackDown in the supplemental draft last month so apparently they are expecting him back. I have not heard anything regarding his gimmick or character.
When Randy Orton returns from his broken collarbone injury do you see him getting right back in the title picture or waiting awhile to challenge the champ?
It depends on when he returns. The World Title picture on Raw is pretty crowded right now so WWE may opt to send him to SmackDown if they want him to challenge immediately. I do think that Orton will be a main eventer regardless of which brand that he works on.
