WrestleMania Worth Ordering, Main Event, More

Written by Richard Gray on Mar 28, 2008 - 1:54:24 PM

Alright Richard, this is the final Ask WNW installment of the week and with Sunday being WrestleMania XXIV I want to know in your honest opinion, is the pay-per-view going to be worth ordering?

Yes, WrestleMania XXIV is definitely going to be worth ordering even if you just order it for Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair. WrestleMania is the one event that WWE puts on each year that you can depend on being very good. This is the 24th WrestleMania that the company has done and they are not going to disappoint you or make you feel ripped off. Save some cash over the weekend and be sure to order on Sunday. If for some reason you do not order, be sure to join us here at WNW for free live play by play cover written by yours truly.

Do you believe the Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair match at WrestleMania should be the main event?

Yes I think that Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels should be the main event at WrestleMania XXIV and the last match to take place. There will be more WWE Championship matches, there will be more undefeated streaks to put on the line, but one thing we know that is coming to an end and that is the illustrious career of The Nature Boy Ric Flair. With that being said I have not heard of what the match order at WrestleMania XXIV will be but all indications are that the WWE Championship match and World Heavyweight Championship match will be the show’s main events. Hopefully that is not the case as I do not see how anyone is going to be able to follow Flair vs. Michaels.

I regularly watch Raw, SmackDown, and ECW. Why does WWE always put the best matches on Raw and always focus everything on Raw rather than SmackDown or ECW?

Raw is WWE’s A brand, SmackDown is WWE’s B brand, and ECW is WWE’s C brand. That is the way that everyone in the company sees it. The reason why Raw is superior is because it is live, it gets the highest ratings, and it is the company’s flagship weekly television show. WWE knows that they are going to reach their largest audience on Monday nights; therefore, the brand has all of the top stuff. ECW is more of a brand where they are able to develop talent to feed to SmackDown.

I was reading a recent Great Khali interview and it seems like he is a normal guy although he lacks in ring skills. My question is does he speak English?

The Great Khali cannot speak English fluently. I am under the impression that he is learning the language but is not able to speak it like you or I would.
