Attorney For John Cena’s Soon-To-Be Ex-Wife Speaks On Preliminary Issues Surrounding Divorce Case

Raymond Rafool, who is representing Liz Cena in her divorce from John Cena, spoke to Lawyers.com about the preliminary issues surrounding the case. Below is an excerpt:

“In this case, it appears the preliminary issues will be the interpretation of the prenuptial agreement, the application to the parties’ property, assets and income, whether the agreement itself is enforceable or not, which we always consider, and in the mean time addressing the temporary needs of our client in conjunction with and in spite of certain terms of the premarital agreement,”

It’s noted the prenuptial agreement was signed 16 days before the couple wed. For more, click here.

I live in Tampa and have seen both him and her out eating at Ballyhoo’s. He is a genuinely a nice person who always had time to interact with any fan who came up. She was a obnoxious drinker, a real look at me attitude. Hope she doesn’t take him to the cleaners.

  So true! I haven’t seen any of them at this site, but stuff all of you Cena haters. He works 100x harder than you and he gets given legit crap for it. His character may be dated but just hate his character, not Cena himself.

Love has nothing to do with a prenup. If a person has significant assets going into a marriage, especially a 2nd or 3rd marriage (or more), they most likely also have children from a previous marriage. A will will protect those assets should they die, but to ensure against divorce, a prenup is a must. Most states have a 50-50 deal upon divorce, and once married, all assets become joint property. So if you come into a marriage with, say, a million dollars in the bank, as soon as you say "I do", your spouse instantly has 500 thousand dollars. It's not fair to be forced to split money you already had before you met this person.

The law is crap. Why the hell have the prenup if the enforcement of such document is always considered in lieu of application?

If she wants half, have her work a stiff match against Beth Phoenix. A one night big payoff, you know.
