Backstage News On The Lifeblood Of WWE & Triple H’s Vision For Major Changes That Could Alter The Future Of The Company Under His Control

I’m told Triple H is “thrilled” with the setup of NXT Wrestling taping at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, however, he still prefers to shutdown Florida Championship Wrestling in the long-term.

While FCW is currently operating under the NXT name, Hunter reportedly has “no faith” in Steve Keirn or their setup. One thing really working against FCW is it was a John Laurinaitis project and Triple H has his own vision for developmental he wants to build from scratch. The revamp of FCW is currently seen as more of a band-aid.

There are still plans to “phase out” the company’s relationship with FCW in approximately six months although Hunter still likes the idea of developmental being in Florida. It’s an uneasy situation where Keirn knows “the writing is on the wall” but WWE doesn’t have anything setup in terms of a long-term permanent replacement.

Because of this, plans to phase out FCW in favor of a new Triple H developmental system could still be a year out.

I just love how he loves the new look but at the same time doesn't care for it being run by Steve Kerin. and that FCW qwas a Big Johnny idea….

he loves NXt but doesn't like it.. Yep he sure is a McMahon, he thinks just like Vince does, Vince doesn't like any ideas that came from someone else outside WWE. or in WWE they have issues with. He has to take credit for everything. what a ego both have.

I admit I don't understand any type bussiness since I dfon't own a bussiness. But I really don't care who came up with a idea if it works then use it. even if the idea came from someone outside the bussiness.

You chose to read that in a very different way.

Btw Vince is open to idea pitch by other. He can also put his ego asid when it's good for bussiness. Just inform yourself befor insulting sombody. McMahon has a lot of negative side but if you are VERY prepared he is gonna listen to you.

Richard how many ppl attend nxt? What’s their audience size compared to impact? Why didn’t tna ever think of this?

    • PainOfDemise

I'm sure TNA knows about WWE doing this, except WWE is taking in the money and has the attendance for something like this. TNA isn't bringing in the audience enough with their main show, so they would just bleed money if they would have to pay for cameras and find another station to air their developmental. It just wouldn't be smart for them.

What I am saying is tna should put impact in a college arena like what wwe did where it looks larger has more fans and doesn’t look 2nd rate..

TNA uses O.V.W., Ohio Valley Wrestling, as their developmental territory. That's where Crimson has been for the last couple months. Richard just posted a week or so ago that at that time Crimson was the O.V.W. Champion. Not sure if he still is or not, but TNA is definitely using Ohio Valley as their developmental system and apparently using it to season a guy like Crimson.
