Backstage Survivor Series News On When The Show Was Finalized, How WWE Orchestrated The Debut Of The NXT Studs; Future Plans For Their Angle, Who Vince McMahon Is High Up On, Top WWE Star Turning Heel, Ziggler's Big Win, Royal Rumble Plans Revealed

- The final script for Survivor Series wasn't finalized until 3 PM on Sunday. I'm told they kept going back and fourth with matches being added and taken away because they had to adjust for timing. This became more than obvious when WWE reverted back to the original pre-show match the day of the show.

- The decision to have Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns run-in on the main event wasn't made until Saturday afternoon. The company was very secretive about bringing them in as they didn't want word to leak.

- Speaking of the developmental studs, I'm told there was no plan on what to do with them following Survivor Series. One plan was to pair them with CM Punk and Paul Heyman while the other was to have them operate alone. The premise of the angle is they are jealous of Ryback getting a shot over them.

- Vince McMahon is high up on Reigns' wrestling heritage as a member of the Anoa'i family but I'm he is "by far" the greenest of the trio.

- Dolph Ziggler going over Randy Orton as the sole survivor in the Traditional Survivor Series match wasn't the original plan but it looks like the company is playing Orton's ego towards his heel turn. This was heavily discussed over the final 24 hours leading into the pay-per-view.

- If there was ever any question, I'm assured the plan barring anything shocking is to do CM Punk vs. The Rock for the WWE title at Royal Rumble.

Gotta love that they thought the PPV out all the way up to the show.

One question Richard – If VKM is so high up on the Anoa’i family this week, then why not push the Usos? Or is this just another way to show the Rock that he's support the family as another little way to keep Rocky happy? It just seems like a rather screwed up way to be so high up on the family when he's not pushing those with solid talent.

When I saw the trio jump Ryback last night I figured from the moment I saw them that the plan would be for them to be angry about Ryback's push instead of them getting one themselves. It's been a long time coming for Dean Ambrose to debut, so I hope that his initial run isn't botched by creative. Uniting him with Reigns and Rollins in a group is a good idea to get them all over quick and at one time. Plus having them jump Ryback was a great way to get instant heat on them. Now all we have to do is hope that they aren't just fed to Ryback for him to squash. This also was a good way to get Ryback out of the WWE title picture so that Punk can move on to face Rock. Putting Ryback in a feud with the 3 NXT guys will keep him busy for awhile and keep him looking strong since he will be taking on a group of 3 guys alone. Now they need to have Ziggler jump all over Cena to get that feud jump started so that he's out of the title picture.

If Ziggler going over Orton wasn't the plan, it was going to be boring the other way around and nonsense.

Horrible user name and an even worse band.

” Speaking of the developmental studs, I’m told there was no plan on what to do with them following Survivor Series. ”

I thought HHH stated a while back that no developmental talent was being called up without a long term plan due to the whole Mahal angle that didn’t pay off?

I love a PPV that costs me nearly $60 and is shorter than a weekly episode of RAW.
