Big No Show On Raw, Updated SummerSlam Lineup

Big No Show on Raw

Big Show didn’t return to WWE on this week’s Monday Night Raw as advertised. The company aired a vignette on last week’s episode of Smackdown and used his return as a promotional point for the broadcast. Show even posted on Twitter about it, Tweeting the following after last week’s Smackdown:

While I haven’t heard why the return didn’t happen, I would assume it had to do with them running late on the time.

Updated SummerSlam Lineup

CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar was officially announced for SummerSlam on this week’s Monday Night Raw. Also announced is John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.

SummerSlam will take place Sunday, August 18, 2013 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

I hate when WWE advertises something then doesn’t pull through with it! Time constrains is a really weak excuse for it as well!

“Card Subject to Change”…its been that way forever.

      • John

The point is not that it’s necessarily wrong for WWE not to go through with what they advertised.. The point is that it’s just amateurish to do it! Look at how long they advertised Brodus Clay only to delay it week after week, then debut him as a comedy character.

        • Dave Barton

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with you. Just saying that “card subject to change” has always been the excuse for every promotion.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything but Big Show hasn’t had my interest in a long time so I completely forgot about his return. I’m more disappointed the Wyatt Family didn’t appear.

  • Alex

I might’ve missed some points throughout the show, but The Wyatt family never showed up either, right? These were 2 real reasons I wanted to watch Raw, but I never saw them.

with ryback attacking danny….i think the return of big show was subject for that angle…that would have been sweet

  • Tim

Well you advertise a big star to be returning. And you have gold with the Wyatt family. But you choose to have a bunch of pointless matches. Even the gauntlet match wasn’t that great. Except the epic cesaro vs Bryan that match was great but got killed when ryback came out and the match got boring. We also didn’t need the diva segment. Way to go wwe.

Oh, can’t leave the divas out – Daniel Bryan and John Cena might get upset!

  • Loren Goldstein

I fully expected Big Show to show up during Ryback’s promo
