Big Show Replacing Tensai, Dolph Ziggler Meeting With WWE Officials, Andy Leavine's Release, Sting & His TNA Contract

What's the reason behind Big Show replacing Tensai and why the name change?

Producers and writers in WWE started to become concerned after Tensai failed to get over after multiple opportunities. The company had high hopes for him but it hasn't worked to this point. The name change is part of an effort to makeover the character, perhaps as a mid-carder rather than an upper level superstar. I have more on his downgrade at this link

What's next for Dolph Ziggler?

I've heard a lot of rumors about Dolph Ziggler being moved to Smackdown to be pushed in singles competition. Earlier this month, Ziggler met with Triple H and John Laurinaitis in regards to his character and while he was initially blown off, things are changing.

Whatever happened to Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine?

Andy Leavine had heat right out of the gate when he no-sold Steve Austin's Stunner on the episode of Raw to announce him as Tough Enough winner. He never recovered as he was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling for seasoning but the feeling was he just required too much work to ever be ready for a main roster call-up.  Subsequently he was released from his contract last month.

Will Sting be finished with TNA at the end of the year?

Sting's TNA contract is up at the end of the year. He has worked year-to-year for several years so he can reevaluate his status as to whether or not he wants to keep going or hang it up. A lot of people wonder if he has a WWE run left in him and while anything is possible, Sting's best opportunity was a couple years ago when he was offered a WWE contract to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXVII.

Show is much much better than Tensai and he is much more believable as the unstoppable force than tensai. Thankfully this change happened 🙂

Though we have seen Cena Vs Show feud already, I would prefer that on any day against Cena vs Tensai… Tensai is just plain boring and has no in-ring charisma L(

  • Lil Wayne(YMCMB)

now ziggler should replace big show and feud with cena.

    • mathew30

thank god your not in charge then

  • The Breaker

I hope Ziggler makes the best out of the opportunity it looks like he's getting. It's no secret that he's got amazing potential.

Dolph ZIggler is full of talent and is main event bound. SmackDown! will do him wonder as a lot of main eventers started their first step or rebooting their character on SmackDown! (John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus). I also heard that SmackDown! is a place that is less tense and also less pull from the higher ups; a great environment to work. As for Sting, he should call a career in WWE. TNA is not a great place to for Sting to retire. Just my 2 cents…

    21-0 Taker vs. Cena
    21-1 Taker vs. Sting

    • Don

That would make no sense. Sting was never in WWE, to give him the highest victory right off the bat wouldn't make any sense. Taker will remain undefeated, unless a bunch of wrestlers interfere like they did in the mid 90's.

Sting was apart of the WWE when vince bought WCW

        • BigMike

Nope his last night working was the last night of WCW broadcasting so if u want to get "technical" yes he did work BUT he CHOSE not to go to WWF/E at that time and was released with many other WCW workers none as high level as Sting but many workers lost their jobs that night… Sting has been asked MANY times to come work for WWF/E and he has always said Vince is nice and respectful when they tal;k and has been great and he puts Vince as a business man and a person he puts Vince over in a BIG way BUT he still says No Thank You

  • Hunter

Finally a meaningful storyline and opportunity for Dolph. So many wasted months jobbing with Swagger.

  • Vince

I hoped for ziggler to move to smackdown hopefully he has a push towards the world title

Sting v. Undertaker. I never considered that as a possibility until you mentioned it. I never even knew Sting had been offered a contract to do it. But now that I do think about it, that would be the PERFECT ending to both men's careers. If there is one wrestler out there who could be said to be on par with UT it's Sting. Since WWE is using UT at Wrestlemania only from here on out, and he's got an undefeated streak going, why not sign Sting to a one-night-only contract against UT at Wrestlemania. Sure, Sting and UT both do some promos along the way, maybe even meet in the ring to sign the contract, but neither actually wrestles until Mania. Then they give us everything they've got left for at least 30 minutes, then UT goes over and keeps his streak alive. That way, no active WWE wrestler who will be continuing with the company has to take a loss against UT, and UT can retire with his streak in tact. I've said it all along: UT will be one of the few wrestlers (none I can recall myself) who have been allowed to win their last match. Most of the time they're slotted to lose. Sting v. UT would probably be a bigger draw than Rock v. Cena.

You’re pretty late on that one, buddy.

  • Dave Barton

I wouldn't say Andy no-sold the stunner, I felt he just didn't sell it especially well, but that's what happens when you give the ball to someone with "the look" over someone with "the skills."

    Decide for yourself…

    • Bob

Hey Dave. Agree. So do you know what happened to who finished 2nd in TE? Andy did have better look, but I did like “2nd place” guy skill level, and mic skills

    • James M>>>

Thanks for posting that YouTube link. Quick comments: vkm slapped the piss out of that boy, Andy screwed up big time, scta shouldn’t have given him that handshake after he was walking away. I remember when this happened I was like, uh oh, Andy f’d up there.

      • Rob UK

Hmm this isn’t as bad as I remember. He took the stunner pretty well it’s just the fact he rolled out of the ring and walked away like 2 seconds later when he should have just stayed down. I wonder if he knew the stunner was going to happen.,?
