Hello everyone and welcome to the on time edition of Guility as Blogged. I want to thank everyone for still reading my blog last week even though it was extremly late. It’s nice to know I have a loyal reader fan base and I thank each and everyone here for that. You can trust me when I say that was the first and last edition of ELB.

Now that we have the drama on the way let’s talk about YOU. You the fans that is. Now I know that this certainly does not pertain to anyone on this website but the one thing that pisses me off is bandwagon fans. This especially came to my attention when I was watching the Mr. Kennedy vs. Snitsky match on Monday. Answer me this will you. Since when does the average fan start cheering for Kennedy like on Monday? The answer is when Vince pours a fresh glass of Kool Aid and pours it down their mouths with a funnel. If you’re a Kennedy fan you were a Kennedy fan when he was feuding with Taker, when he won MITB, and when he fought HBK. NOT just when he decides to turn on Regal who’s a heel. I’ve been 100% Kennedy since his beginnings. And that’s the way it always will be.

Jeff Hardy made his triumphant return last night. What I found really funny was that JR and King said he was trying to explain his leave of absence. HELLO!!! They put up on the website: “Jeff Hardy has been suspended”. What other explaination do you need. Anywho I’m real glad Jeff’s back. Hopefully his jobbing phase can be skipped (which it looks like it is) and he can move straight up to upper middle and eventually MAIN EVENT status. If he can pick up where he left off he can be the wrestler of the year.

This is just a plug for one of my favorite Youtubers ever, Leg3ndKilla687 . Watch this video of a tribute to Randy Orton. It is incredible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjc7g8VwDcs.

On a side note what the hell was the point of having all those mixed tag teams at Sacrafice lose at the first round. If you want to mix something up make them champions. That would really create controversey. Just a suggestion.

I’m going to take a page out of Aaron Shaw’s book and create a contest. Along with you’re comments on tonight’s show you can leave it on the comment board or at AnthonyO91@gmail.com. This week’s contest is to give my blog a new name. I feel kinda cheap using the name Aaaron used and I’m too unoriginal to think of a new name myself. The winner will receive a special prize which will be revealed at a later time. I’m not joking when I say there will be a prize. And please nobody ask what it is.

So I think I’ve ranted enough let’s go ahead with the 101th episode of ECW!!!

Our show starts with a good video package of Delaney and his quest for a contract. These video making guys in the WWE are the best. Armando somehwat reluctantly gives Colin his contract to sign. He announces his first “official” ECW match with a man who’s already kicked the crap out of him: Mike Knox. This is going to be painful…. for us. I think we’re entitled to an actual match for crying out loud. Delaney shows some real potential so lets see what he’s got.

Our first match of the evening should be a good one: Miz and CM Punk. This match was not the best but it was preety damn good. They really put on a story and I thoroughly enjoyed the match. Miz has grown so much since the Diva Search days. It was good that Morrison didn’t interfere. Miz actually wins with the Reality Check. Well I think it’s safe to say that M&M wont be tag team champions next Tuesday. Also during the preview of Judgment Day Adamle said Kane and Morrison. Fire this guy already

So Adamle has Diva fever and we’re on to TNA’s favorite match type: the six person tag. Kelly, Cherry, an Michelle all come out to take on Natalya, Victoria, and Layla. You all know I don’t like Diva matches so to keep things short team faces won with a roll up.

Now onto feuds that do matter: Kofi Kingston and Benjamin. Benjamin once again promises to end Kofi’s streak and mentioned something about the place where the sun don’t shine. Kofi eventually pops up Benjamin pushes Kofi and Kofi then spears him to the steel. I cant wait till these guys meet again. This promo was great for building up the rivalry. I wonder what type of specialty match they could fight in.

We get a recap of Orton vs. Hunter. Look out for my prediction in the Talent Exchange.

We get another video of Delaney and all his beatings. His match with Knox is next. He comes out to some preety good music. Knox then comes out for the match. Quick Quick domination. Knox wins. Armando then intorduces to the newest ECW wrestler HIM. He too quickly dominates and hits a unique finsiher. Wow now we need a new GM.

John Morrison and Kane is up next. This match was given plenty of time and was the match of the night. They put on an even better story then Miz and Punk. Miz gets invlved a few times but Punk comes out to take care of him. Morrison focuesed on the leg of Kane. Eventually Punk and Miz fight outside causing the ref to be distracted giving Morrison time to hit Kane with the tag belt and hit a springboard enziguri. Morrison wins. They brought down Kane and Punk and celebrated. On a side note Morrison is awesome. I want to see him and HBK feud soon.

That’s it for this blog. Remmeber to think up of names and submit them. I will be back with Chris with my predictions later in the week. Adios.

Hello everyone and welcome to an extremely (no pun intended here) late edition of Guilty as Blogged. So I guess Mike Adamle isn’t the only one with explaining to do. Basically some family problems came up and it slipped my mind. I should’ve gotten a replacement but that’s my fault for not doing so. I am still here and look forward to staying for a while. So without further ado here’s my blog on the 100th episode of ECW.

I guess the only upside to this late blog is the fact I can discuss Nick Hogan’s arrest. People I’ve lost two friends to street racing. Your life isn’t something to play with. And now Nick’s friend will never be the same. I don’t think eight months in jail is justified. He messed up the life of an innocent kid. But I do feel sorry for him. He better hold on to that soap.

Jeff Hardy’s suspension is soon up. With one more strike to go this is it. He can’t screw up anymore. Jeff Hardy will be big one day. Bigger than he’s ever been. But he can’t do it if he doesn’t get off the drugs. I really hope he can make it through.

How stupid is it that WWE edited in boos for Edge on Smackdown? He’s in Canada and he’s a Canadian. We all know he won’t get booed. Just like the time MVP was in Tampa and they edited in boos and didn’t announce his hometown. Vince McMahon just keeps trying to pour kool-aid down our mouths.

So now let’s get on with ECW

ECW opened up with Adamle explaining himself. He runs down his announcing accolades and says he didn’t know how hard this would be. Basically the pressure got to him. He wants to assure us that he’ll do his best to entertain us now. Yeah ok. Later in this show the guy doesn’t know what an uppercut is. He just plain sucks. I just wish he could leave. But then again J.R. had to start somewhere. Wait. Did I just compare Adamle to J.R.?

Our first match starts off with a hardcore match. I know what it’s called but if this was truly Extreme Rules we’d have blood, fire, and more tables. Still it was pretty hardcore. Some cool spots were the suplex through the table and the dropkick with the cart. It was BS the way it ended. Dreamer went through all sorts of stuff in the Original ECW and they expect us to believe he can be beat with a neck breaker on a chair? Ridiculous. I can’t wait to see what push tier giving Knox though.

Now we’re back to the original Kofi matches. Him destroying jobbers or WWE hired jobbers. Benjamin was pretty good on commentary. I’m looking forward to this feud as Benjamin jumped Kofi after the match.

We get a taste of Kelly’s expose. She can’t dance…. but who cares? Sorry Dirt Sheet addict here. It was interrupted by Layla who showed off her stuff until catfight catfight caaaaatfighhhhhht. Where’s Joey when you need him. Oh yeah he’s at WWE.com.

SO now it’s time. Colin Delaney gets his last chance at the contract. Armando’s jacked. I was so surprised at the way he knew how to wrestle. Delaney wins with a sunset flip like maneuver and is know in the WWE. Thanks everyone and next week he will get his music.

Finally our main event. Neely looks stupid in tights. Punk and Chavo pick up the win in a lackluster match. Morrison and Miz were on commentary and they were gold. Kane and Chavo will take on them at Judgment Day for the titles.

Once again I’m sorry to everyone. My readers and especially Richard. I promise this won’t happen again. I’ll see you all on Wednesday and for all TNA fans have a good Sacrifice.

Hello everyone and welcome to the latest edition of Guilty as Blogged. I haven’t gotten a chance to watch all of Backlash with SAT’s coming up but I managed to get a few in. So without further ado I give you my Backlash thoughts

Matt Hardy vs. MVP- I didn’t manage to watch yet but based on previous encounters I’d say it’s a pretty good match. Changing the title now was a mistake in my opinion. Nobody likes to see a heel chase after a championship. Its way more entertaining to watch the face go after it. I still would like to see a TLC or Iron Man before MVP goes to another brand. I know Chris Jacks is psyched that Smackdown’s savior now is the U.S. Champion.

ECW Championship Match- Mediocre match that wasn’t anything PPV quality. It’s obvious that Kane would retain but I wanted to see Bam get a little more involved. Adamle messed up so much. He got the referee wrong and called ropes rings. The part where Tazz messes up and says he pulled an Adamle was hilarious. Seriously they can’t get someone else to do this. Maybe Paul Heyman. That would be cool.

Big Show vs. Khali- Show won. That’s all you need to know

Batista vs. HBK- Chris Jericho as ref for the first time since 2005. It was pretty cool to see him in the gear. Surprised he didn’t play more of a role in the match but with the Highlight Reel last night I’m sure something will happen soon. I sure hope HBK doesn’t have to leave any time soon for injury. The match itself was way better then their Armageddon match in 2003. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

So is the WWE actually going to let the Divas who can wrestle get the push they deserve. I was surprised that the heels got the duke.

Wow. Undertaker vs. Edge. Even though we knew Undertaker would retain there were so many near falls that got me on the edge of my seat. Edge looks like he’s taking some time off. He deserves it.

As soon as I found out this was main event I knew Orton was going to lose. He got one main event at No Mercy and the rest the WHC got the main. That pisses me off. Just because it’s not Cena doesn’t mean it can’t be the main event. I’m not a mark in any way but I was psyched when Triple H won. I would’ve been cool with Orton too. When it came to the last two they put on a classic. There were a good amount of cool high spots during the match.
The concept of turning off the main event on Raw was weird but interesting. The steel cage match set for Judgment Day should be a good one and for the first time since 2006 will not have to do with Cena.

Kennedy’s back. YES!!!! Apparently he will feud with Regal first. I hope he at least gets IC soon and in time WWE or WHC. I’ve heard the rumors that Stone Cold wants to put him over and I think that would be a cool idea. Kennedy is the future of WWE.

Mick Foley is the new SD commentator replacing Coach. That is awesome. He was bit nervous at Backlash but way better then Coach. Now let’s get Sandman to cane Admale and announce with Tazz.

So let’s get on with the show and get ready to plug in your ear plugs.

ECW opens tonight with Shelton Benjamin and Kofi Kingston. So I guess that we do have a feud in the works here. That’s great now we can actually see what Kofi can do in real matches and not just to jobbers or people who act like ones. Benjamin calls last week a fluke and promises that this week it’ll be different. Now this match pissed me off. Kofi acted like an absolute jobber only getting in a cross body which Benjamin reversed. He basically only hit the Jamaican Buzzsaw. Last week’s match was so much better. Kofi is no jobber. Anyway he picks up the duke and keeps the undefeated streak. Also is the electric chair the move of the week? I’ve seen three since Backlash.

We now go to Mike Knox and Tommy Dreamer. Colin Delaney comes to ringside with the Original. Nothing special about this match. They both got in offense and Knox slapped Delaney around before finishing off Dreamer. Hey I got a question. When will Dreamer stop being the guy who shows off the latest PPV shirt and jobs all the time? Looks like Knox is getting a push in the near future.

It’s now time for Striker’s classroom. You know he’s from Bayside and I’m right on the border in Flushing. That’s pretty cool. He talks about a croon I think and mentions how we are being acclimated (that means getting used to. SAT word) to Mike Adamle Smackdown will also be accustomed to the voice of Mick Foley (another home state brethren of mine). Foley gets a good pop when he comes out. Striker mentions how we’re used to his in ring performer and Foley brings up his two bestselling books. Striker makes fun of Foley’s rugged appearance and Foley says how he likes it. Foley then makes fun of Striker and says how he’s never sacrificed anything for the fans. Gets a pop for mention A.C. and Striker then asks if he knows how to commentate and if he knows the moves. Eventually the sock comes out and down the throat. From experience when a sock with permanent marker is shoved down your throat it’s not pleasant. Class is dismissed.

We now go to Mr. MITB CM Punk. He comes out to face Chuck Palumbo. Very physical matchup here. I hate that it led into a DQ. So is Palumbo’s gimmick a temper tantrum freakazoid? I really don’t think this will be a rivalry and there was no point in it ending in DQ. No point in this being here. Where’s Burke these days?

OK now I don’t know whether to celebrate or be confused but after Chavo comes out Adamle leaves. Tazz follows and we have no announcers for the main event. Anyway our main event is a regular old handicap match. Bam Neely doesn’t do anything special to show us his skills or anything. The end comes when Chavo taps off (whoops pulled an Adamle) to Bam who weakens Kane to the floor and the frog splash is delivered for the win. Please don’t tell me this feud is going on. And where the hell did Adamle go?

This ECW gets a disappointing 6 barbwire chairs out of 10. Very poor matches and Striker’s Classroom was really the only entertaining thing.

ECW Preview: Next week is the 100th broadcast of ECW on Sci-Fi. Tommy Dreamer will face Mike Knox in an Extreme Rules match and Delaney will face Estrada for a contract. Hopefully creative lets the Original get the duke in his type of match and don’t let Delaney lose to a GM. And we’ll also find out where Adamle went to.

Hello everyone and welcome to the newest edition of Guilty as Blogged. I come with my opinions on what wrestling should be, the King of the Ring tournament last night, and why tag team matches before ppv’s blow.

So the biggest news is the King of the Ring winner: William Regal. I, along with everyone else probably, went WHAT THE F***!!! Where was Kennedy? Those who read my blog last week know that he was my prediction but he wasn’t event there. CM Punk was great throughout the entire tournament. This guy truly is the future of the WWE. His match with Jericho was excellent and even better then the first time they met. Matches like Y2J vs. MVP and the CM vs. Y2J is what wrestling should really be. Not Cena getting beat up for God knows how long and then Hulkin up (Yes I just compared Cena to Hogan). MVP will also soon be the face of the business.

The main event on Raw was stupid. I hate these 8 men or 6 men or whatever tag team matches are that involve more than two rivalries. The only cool thing was that double chokeslam by Taker. Besides Raw is Raw not SD! and ECW. Leave Kane and Chavo to Tuesday night and Taker and Edge to SD! I hate the ECW and SD! thing that’s going on too. It better lead to a Survivor Series match soon.

The President skit was better than Rosie-Trump. I have no idea what Umaga had to do with anything but it was good for him to interrupt it none the less. Bill Clinton was spot on. Also Barrack’s ears are not that big

Look out for the Talent Exchange later in the week for my Backlash predictions. And now let’s get on with ECW.

The show starts off with a mixed tag team match Kelly Kelly and Tommy Dreamer vs. Layla and Mike Knox. Question. Wasn’t Richards the one feuding with Knox? So where did Dreamer come from? Regardless this is our first match of the night. Faces come out first and then come the heels. Guys start off the match. Dreamer gets pounded and gets the hot tag to Kelly. Kelly Kelly has improved greatly. She hit a cross body off the top rope and Knox breaks it up. Knox and Dreamer to the outside. Kelly and Layla initiate a series of counters leading to Kelly winning with her version of the rocker dropper. I’m muting Adamle throughout the whole show so I don’t know how he did. Kelly Kelly is greatly improving. Dreamer and Kellly celebrate and Knox beats up Dreamer. Watch out everyone, it’s the roid rage. These mixed tag teams are also useless. Dreamer and Knox had nothing going to this point

We now get a singles match involving the Shaman of Sexy John Morrison and the cowboy Jimmy Wang Yang both out with their respective partners. Fast paced match up here with Morrison taking control. Jimmy comes back with an enziguri, and an absolutely crazy monkeyflip. Yang wins with the moonsault after Morrison misses a corkscrew. If you ever get to see Jimmy Wang Yang live do it. I saw him at the Royal Rumble dark match and he goes higher then you can believe. I want them to respark this feud eventually giving team Yang the belts.

Kofi Kingston is shown with Benjamin backstage and Benjamin promises to end the streak. Possible first feud for Kofi anyone? I’ll substitute Benjamin for Burke. This was a great fast paced match with Benjamin trying to keep Kofi grounded but Kofi still able to show his great skills. End comes with a counter of Benjamin’s kick to the enziguri. I certainly would like to see more of that especially with more time given. Kofi Kingston actually walks away with pain.

Guess who the next #1 contender will be. You give up? It’s Mark Henry. Squashed Nunzio in a match that should’ve come after the mix tag team and before Kofi-Benjamin.

So we have the Cutting Edge with Kane. Edge and his lackeys come out. Edge talks about family and how the BOD is the most dominant family. He brings up his parents and his rivalry with the Taker.Edge brings up Kane’s affairs and Lita and how he met Vickie. A lot of pointless stuff until Kane mentions that he and Undertaker will take very good care of Vickie after they take care of Edge and Chavo at Backlash. Brawl starts Chavo and Neely come out and nail Kane with the chair. Repeated chair shots while Kane is down.

This gets a disappointing 6/10 barbwired chairs. Only one good match and the Cutting Edge was all right. I’ll see you all at the Talent Exchange.

Hey everyone welcome to the newest edition of Guilty as blogged. I’m going to do something that’s unusual in a blog and that’s talk about last week. There was just a little bit of back and forth between two people on the comment board discussing the order of which the matches were placed. As said in my premiere blog ECW does have a little bit of scheduling problem. They heavily plug something on the website or on Raw and it turns out to be a five minute piece of nothing. For some people the order of the matches might help or hurt the show but for others it might not. But for God’s sake please make the main event have to do with something about the champion. Delaney is still a jobber so why give him a main event. We all know that Dreamer won’t be fired anytime soon. The contract signing for a pay per view title match, no matter how predictable the outcome or how little the title means, takes priority over a contract for a wrestler.

So Matt Hardy vs. MVP has been set for Backlash. I really hope MVP retains. Of course it will have to be by count out or DQ but let me explain why I don’t want Hardy to win just yet. These two have put on five star matches and a regular match should not end the great rivalry they’ve had. I’m thinking two out of three falls or Iron Man at JD but I’m probably wrong. And then Luke gave me the idea that it could maybe be TLC at One Night Stand. No matter what happens I hope MVP goes into the main event picture after this. If he slips into jobberville I would be so mad.

During the segments with Edge and Vickie on SD Teddy Long said enough. He can’t take being a lackey anymore. My guess is a control of SD match with two representatives for each person vying for GM. Who the wrestlers would be I don’t know. I had originally guessed this match for Mania but I guess it’ll be Backlash or possibly JD.
On Raw the big news is the Fatal Four Way. Call me crazy but I can see Orton winning again. No matter who wins JBL will be pinned most likely. I want to see a one on one between Triple H and Orton. If you watch the match they had at Unforgiven 04 it was great. We’ll have to see though. You know Cena’s sticking around that strap for awhile.

Some big news on Raw this week is the announcement of a one night King of the Ring tournament to be held on the three hour Raw next week. My first guess was Kennedy… Kennedy. This guy needs a serious push if he wants that WWE championship. I’ve been a Kennedy fan since his debut and I’m waiting for his time.

Oh and if anybody knows any streams for PPV’s please put it on the comment board. I can’t afford every PPV but I like to watch them all and the only other way is waiting five days for someone to upload it on DailyMotion.

Enough with SD and Raw let’s get on with ECW.

So the face of ECW is leaving us. Joey Styles who all of you know was the commentator for the original ECW is leaving Tazz for WWE.com. Mike Adamale will take over. You know they could’ve done a sendoff. Don’t say goodbye to him when he’s sitting at the announce table. Man oh man will somebody come down and save the WWE commentary. All we have left is JR and King. Anyway the show starts off with a cool eight man tag team match. CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, and Team Yang come out to face Deuce and Domino (without Cherry), Elijah Burke, and Shelton Benjamin. A nice entertaining way to start the show even though there’s no feuds between anybody on either team. Elijah Burke and Kofi were in there together for like 10 seconds (let’s get these two feuding). There were some nice double teams by Team Yang. Jimmy played damsel in distress for this match getting the hot tag to Kofi. We get a few be bops before the buzz saw on Deuce (I think its Deuce. Still can’t tell them apart.) Great way to start a show.

Kane does an absolutely creepy promo about last week and then presents to us the Undertaker who’s ready for action.

We get a dance contest next. Lena, Maryse, Layla, Eve, and Kelly all show their stuff before Tazz lets the audience decide. Of course Kelly Kelly wins. Tazz and Kelly then dance in the ring. OMG Tazz dancing was hilarious. If you haven’t seen the clip of the divas on Celebrity Boot Camp I suggest you watch it.
Miz and Morrison then do a promo on Undertaker and Kane. The usual Palace of Wisdom talk. These two are absolutely great and deserve a big push in the business.
So it’s now Tommy vs. Mike Knox. Apparently Knox is in no trouble with the steroid finding in his old home. The match is about to begin until Armando makes it Colin vs. Knox. So the WWE thinks we’d rather see a squash then a match? Or do false steroid accusations come with some free squash? Either way Colin is dead in a minute with the neck breaker.

It’s time for the MAIN EVENT. Felt like doing a Heat introduction there. Team Morrison comes out then the Brothers. Undertaker and Kane are dominant until Morrison pushes Kane off the top rope. He’ll play damsel in distress until getting the tag to Undertaker. End comes with two chokeslams and a tombstone on Morrison for the win. Team World Champions prevail. Mike Adamale killed this match. It wasn’t superb but still I miss Joey already. Ending is both champions showing us their usual pose.

This show gets eight barbwired chairs out of ten. Great start, funny dance segment, good promos, squash killed the possibility of a nine, and a nice main event.

Good Luck Joey Styles.

Welcome everybody to the newest edition of Guilty as Blogged. I’m going to start off today with a date. June 25th 2006. Does anybody know what happened on that day? It was the last day John Cena was in a feud that had nothing to do with the WWE Championship. That’s about a year and 3/4 that he has been constantly going after or defending his title. Seriously Stephanie McMahon cant think of something better? I seriously think he’s attracted as many fans as he is capable of doing. His movie 12 Rounds smells like another crappier as it seems it’s going to be exactly like The Marine. I loved it when The Rock made fun of it at HOF. Now one person once commented that I seem like another brain washed person who just doesn’t like Cena for any reason. There is one major reason I dont like him: Hogging. As aforementioned Cena has been constantly in the title picture. What about Mr. Kennedy or Jeff Hardy? If he was in a match against JBL or Khali without the title up for grabs, hell yeah I’ll cheer for him. So that’s my view on that.

Since my show has the current holder of MITB I want to give everyone my opinion on what I think might happen. First as I just mentioned several times Raw has Cena. It also has Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Triple H, and JBL. Now of course they cant make a whole year worth of fueds out of just these people. With the draft and people like Ron Killings and Chris Harris set to debut anytime Raw is a little crowded. However it’s the opposite for Smackdown. Smackdown has way too few main event contenders. 2007 was basically Batista, Edge, and Undertaker with Khali thrown in there. Punk can bring some new competition to it. I would love to see Punk and Undertaker fight. But since Taker has already been the victim of MITB I think he’ll have to cash it in on someone else. Speaking of Undertaker matches I would love to see I cant wait for Phenom vs. Festus. Of course it’ll either be a squash or DQ but in entertainment ways it is going to be great. What will Festus look like when he realizes he’s up against Taker?

One last thing. No matter how annoying the commercial may be you have to get a $5 foot long Luke. They are so good and $5 is a pretty good deal. Get a salami, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, japleno, chipolte dressing sandwich on Italian Bread toasted. It’s awesome. From food to the show here we go.

We start off with Mr. MITB going off against the Miz. This match was pretty good and given a nice amount of time. I liked when these two faced off on Cyber Sunday last year. Punk though doesn’t need to be focusing on the Tag Team Champions. He should be on every show with his case. Let’s all just hope he doesn’t use it on the ECW title. Morrison is eventually tossed from ringside for interferring and Punk wins via pinfall by GTS.

So Colin has another opportunity to get a contract. If he beats Dreamer in the main event. But if Dreamer loses he’s fired. This could’ve had a little more hype then it did. Like maybe a Backlash match?

Well here comes the contract signing. And it seems as if the Rated R Alliance has a new member. Justin LaRouche. Man look at the size of this guy. No wonder he’s called the OX. Well Kane is frog splashed through the table and the deal is signed. Basically everything you’d expect in a contract signing.

Elijah Burke vs. Nunzio was next. They needed to push one of these guys sooner or later. I especially enjoyed Styles’ commenting on Nunzio’ big feet. Hmm big feet, he must have some pretty big shoes. Elijah wins via pinfall.

Kofi’s back. Today’s victim was Domino. Everything you’d expect in a Kofi match. I want to see this guy go further. I’m begging for a Burke and Kofi feud.

Layla interrupts Eve and Kelly talking.

Main event. Dreamer and Colin. Will someone please tell WWE we know that Colin has a contract. Colin gets a titantron but no music. Dreamer dominated except for a few minor spots. Estrada seemed to enjoy Colin’s pain. DDT for win.

That’s the show. IF it had been two hours it could’ve been way better then Raw was. I’ll give ECW another 3-5 years before getting another hour. I’ll give today’s show 7 barbwired chairs out of 10.

This week’s ECW Original Match:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LaUEtGE53M

Hello everybody and welcome to Guilty as Blogged. Sorry it’s so late today. I meant to do it before school but I could’nt get up in time. Firstly I’m going to give you a quick wrap up of what I thought of WrestleMania. The JBL and Finlay match was definitly a good way to open. My whole family (mom and dad included) was flabbergasted when JBL won. We’re Finlay maniacs. Money in the Bank was crazy. Although not the best one out of the four it definitly had it’s share of spots. The Benjamin going through a ladder one had my pop going “holy shit”. Raw vs. Smackdown was not what I expected it to be. It was very short for a pay per view. I was amazed though at the Batista Bomb although a little botched. Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair without a doubt. I was cheering for both and when Michaels hit the final SCM i marked out. WOOOO. Long live Naitch. Well Kane’s the new champ and that’s all there is to say about that. BunnyMania was boring but I wassurprised with the result. Yesssss. Orton wins. I’m so happy. Floyd Mayweather shocked the world by winning his match. This was a wack fight and we could’ve had another thing like Trump instead. Undertaker vs. Edge was second match of the night. I was so nervous because of all the near falls. 16-0. Let’s get on with the show shall we.

Kane comes out to start the show and tells us all how he’s the new ECW champion. He tells us that even though ECW has seen some of the most amazing things in wrestling history we havent seen anything yet. CM Punk then reminds us that he is Mr. Money in the Bank and can challenge him at anytime. Chavo comes out saying he wants his rematch. What want to make it 5 seconds now? Shelton Benjamin reminds us he almost died during MITB and he deserves a shot. Kane and Punk vs. Benjamin and Chavo is then set up.

Stevie Richards and Mike Knox is our first match for the evening. WrestleMania got a Belfast Brawl and ECW gets a stinker like this. This match was worst then a Cena match. Richards dis less then five moves and they were worse then shoulder blocks or five knuckle shuffles. Knox wins with a neckbreaker. Remember when Stevie was part of the BWO. That’s when he meant something. He might as well go through an identity crisis again.

Yay! Colin’s back. I hope you can sense my sarcasm. Colin does have the potential to be good but give him an opponent who wont squash him. Armando pulled an April Fool’s joke telling Colin he was getting a contract. Was not to be as it was April the first. Big Show comes out and stops Colin from leaving. Cobra clutch for win.

Our main event is up next. This match was the match of the night no duh. Seriously though it was pretty good. These four wrestlers are great atheletes and all deserve(Kane and Benjamin) or deserved(Chavo and Punk) the ECW championship. A lot of back and forth in this match and good teamwork. GTS on Benjain gave team babyface the three. Punk and Kane celebrate.

*Spoilers*

Kane and Chavo at Backlash should be boring as hell. The two matches Benjamin and Kane had were good and that should be the next fued.

This was preety good for a fallout show. Richards needs to go somewhere and will someone tell WWE everyone knows that Delaney has a contract. This show gets 7/10 barbwired chairs.

As a fan of the original ECW I want those who did not know to see what it was like. Here’s this week’s match.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkTEpTBCb2A

Good night and WOOOOOOO!

Welcome everyone to a special edition of Guilty as Blogged. I know some people were expecting the Talent Exchange but I was not able to get a hold of Chris Jacks in time. Since he will be giving you his predictions in his blog I will be giving you mine now. I fully expect a great show on all ends. All matches should be very good and well worth $55. Hopefully we can get mother nature to cooperate and have good weather.

ECW Championship Match.

As I mentioned last time in my blog I think that Dreamer should and could win. Of course with the title of every ECW episode being called Starring the monster Kane one could very well think that Kane could win. With all of his fame in India Khali could also win it. It’s a huge toss up for the battle royal but the match should e preety clear: Chavo loses. I just dont see Chavo losing. Although a great heel champion WWE will probably not let him win unless someone like Deuce or Festus wins the battle royal… which they wont.

Finlay vs. JBL- Belfast Brawl

Well this is a no brainer. Finlay will obviously get the win in the traditional Hornswoggle distracting shillelagh to the head style. At first this match scared me. I thought “O crap JBL in a WrestleMania match”. Now dont get me wrong JBL is a good wrestler just not that good. Now that it’s no dq we should see a lot of brutality and blood. Expect a no dq version of JBL vs. Y2J from the Rumble.

BunnyMania

Maria and Ashley. This is also a no brainer. It’ll be a softcore porno with Santino interfering somewhere and Snoop Dogg or Jerry kicking the crap out of him. Why cant we have more divas like Beth?

Batista vs. Umaga

I am looking forward to this match a lot. I think Batista is a great athlete and Umaga is a very good brawler. The two styles should compliment themselves nicely and put on a five star match. As for the winner I can only see Batista winning. I hope Umaga will come to Smackdown soon.

Money in the Bank

First let’s look at who wont win. Carltio: No chance, Shelton Benjamin: Not quite at there yet, John Morrison: No chance, MVP: Has to finish feud with Matt Hardy. So this leaves us CM Punk, Y2J, and Mr. Kennedy. CM Punk would definitely have to be traded before cashing it in, Mr. Kennedy will probably use it that night and lose the match, and Y2J would turn heel again with it. I honestly do think that he would turn heel and use it whenever Cena regains it. My final guess is y2J.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show

I really don’t care. This match alone is what WWE is basing WrestleMania on. I dont think it’ll be good because of the amount of scripting their going to have to do. I hope Show wins but I wont be surprised if it’s Mayweather.

World Heavyweight Championship

Wow. I am going to love this match. Edge is one of my top ten wrestlers and Undertaker is number one. These two have had a great rivalry ever since last year in May. If Undertaker dosent win by pinfall it’ll probably be DQ. I would’nt be surprised if there was a DQ although it’s not likely. With Edge the only heel contender for the strap they need to keep this feud going until the draft.

WWE Championship

I’m not going to love this match. I will be having a nervous breakdown. I’ve already sworn that if Cena wins I’m not watching Raw until he loses the belt. With that said my first pick is Triple H. Triple H does not deserve evry one of the eleven championships he’s had but he deserves this one. Orton however has the momentum theory on his side. Usually the one who gets the least momentum on the go home show wins at WrestleMania. But then again there’s Superman. It’s a huge toss up

Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair

What could be Ric Flair’s last match I hope to be a great one. These two had a match at Bad Blood once and it was’nt that good. I hope to God that this is. The match will be won by figure four either by Michaels or Flair’s. I will cry during this match. Flair is the best. I dont want it to end but I know it has to.

I hope everyone has a good WrestleMania. I’ve already got my dinner ready for it chips, dip, and soda. I am ready and psyched.

Guilty as Blogged- ECW 3/25/08

Welcome everyone to Guilty as Blogged. My name is Anthony O’Reilly and I am honored to be part of the Wrestling News World staff. I look forward to working with the members of this site especially, especially Chris Jacks as I hope we can continue the talent exchange blogs. I firstly want to wish Aaron Shaw good luck with his job because it is obviously very important to him. I’ll leave the name Guilty as Blogged for now until I can think of a new name. Anybody with ideas can leave them on the comment board. So without further ado here goes nothing.

Before I get on with the show I want to talk about the biggest thing in the WWE right now which is obviously WrestleMania. I remember being so psyched for WrestleMania just counting down the hours to it. This year though it might as well be Judgment Day or Vengeance. There is barely any hype t the matches. Finlay vs. JBL had about two weeks and the rest was basically promos. What happened to Hornswoggle? You know the person on which this match is based on. Also with the triple threat it’s the usual attacking your opponents after the match. What happened to the times when it got personal? I suppose that the WWE is mainly focusing on Mayweather vs. Big Show so that the world outside of wrestling will order WrestleMania. It seems that the only properly booked matches are Ric Flair vs. HBK and the WHC match.
The show started with what was supposed to be the main event: the 12 on 12 tag team match. I’ll never get why ECW always advertises a match as it’s main event and then it magically becomes the first match. The match set up was pretty simple. All twenty four participants in the battle royal were in it, twelve faces on one side and twelve heels on the other. Cody Rhodes started off for the faces against Brian Kendrick who was surprisingly on the heel side. Classic chain wrestling here with a lot of surprise pins and headlocks. Jamie Noble came in for Rhodes and not soon after Palumbo got into the match. You know what would make a lot more sense? If these two had their own Mania match. I know they’ve had about six matches but this one would be like a Last Man Standing or First Blood. Palumbo shortly dominated until Yang came back with a hurracarana and dropkick to the outside. Cue the classic everyone flies out of the ring scene. Kendrick, Murdoch, Yang, Venis, and Moore all get to show us their best aerial attack before we go to commercial. Back from commercial and it seems like Dreamer is making a comeback until “surprisingly”a brawl starts. Most of the superstars are outside but several stay in the ring. Hardcore Holly, Festus, Khali, all show off their moves. Snitsky then cleans house and Mark Henry throws Dreamer into the big boot for the win. After the match all the participant stare down. This match was an absolute mess. All it basically was was brawling and interfering. The only hype to WrestleMania we get out of it is that we know who’s in the battle royal.

Back from the break Dreamer is with the ECW champion and Colin Delaney. Dreamer talks about his chances being very slim in winning the battle royal before challenging Chavo to a non title match. I know the title itself means nothing but as a fan of the original ECW nothing would make me happier then to see the strap around Dreamer’s waist.

Money in the Bank preview matches continue tonight with Carlito going against Shelton Benjamin. This match really proves that both of these wrestlers need major pushes. Both put on what could be ECW’s match of the year. Benjamin took the win when he hit the bulldog from the top rope. I’m glad that Carlito decided to stay with the WWE. Within a few weeks or months he could be in the IC title range. As it goes for Benjamin? Well I don’t see him winning Money in the Bank just because he’s on ECW. Other then that there’s no stopping him NOOOOOOOO.

It was announced that you can watch the battle royal on your computer for free at WWE.com starting at 6:30. After this Gordon Solie was announced as the last Hall of Fame inductee. I think this is the most deserving class we’ve seen since 2005.

Back from break we get our second mixed gender match of the week with Kelly Kelly with Stevie Richards taking on Knox and Layla. The two divas start off the match with Kelly dominating with a headlock. Knox trips her up for Layla to take control. After a minute or two Kelly hits the enziguri and both divas get the hot tag. Richards comes in and kicks Knox in the legs and the mouth for a pin attempt broken up by Layla. Knox catches Richards while trying a monkey flip and hits a variation of the corkscrew neck breaker. Afterwards the heels celebrate. What happened to Stevie? They wanted us to feel sorry for him and nowhe’s becoming a bigger jobber then DH right now.

Our main event starts and it looks like it’s a lumberjack match. Dreamer takes quick control and throws Chavo outside. The faces quickly throw him back in. Chavo then takes control. Dreamer comes back and goes to the top rope only to be thrown down. Frog Splash hits for the win. Before Chavo leaves all the participants pounce him. Pretty soon though it turns to an all out brawl.

I think this show really could’ve been a lot better but it was ok. You could’ve done without the mixed gender match and made the main event longer. Before this show I could never see Dreamer wining. But now that he got pinned twice it’s a big possibility. I give this show 7 barb wired chairs out of 10. For those who missed it the battle royal will be shown on WWE.com at 6:30 ET. For those who want to know my predictions look out for the talent exchange blog.

Since it’s the big news of the past few days I have to address the Jeff Hardy suspension first and foremost. Now, granted I have no first-hand knowledge of the amount of pain all wrestlers live and work with which I know is quite a deal especially for someone with the style of Hardy, I couldn’t do anything but shake my head when I heard the news being more than a little disappointed. For someone that we have seen has loved the sport since his childhood backyard days with his brother to screw up now when he is arguably the most popular star on Raw (if not all the brands) and seemed primed to win the Money in the Bank and go on to a likely title reign the timing just couldn’t be worse. Obviously I don’t know Jeff Hardy but judging from the timing of the aforementioned timing of this violation I would not be surprised if he is battling an addiction and if he is I hope that he gets the help that he needs.

On a different note I’m going to stick with Drop of Gold for Shelton Benjamin’s finisher, but not for the lack of great suggestions. Thanks to Hardyfan77 for the Shellshocker, I also love the name and I’m definitely filing it for future use, it just didn’t seem to fit the character for me. To Big Guy and JONOvsLFCvsWWE I also like the Gold Rush, the only reason that I didn’t go for that was to avoid confusion if the WWE ever decides to have another Gold Rush Tournament on Raw as opposed to the Beat the Clock Challenge on Smackdown! I must say though I considered it just for the fact that it was in one of those matches, against Shawn Michaels, that Shelton took that Sweet Chin Music in midair after springboarding into the ring, still on of the most amazing spots I’ve ever seen. Finally, to LanceDanger, you have now idea how close I came to bookending Morrison’s Swan Song with the Thong Song, if they ever form a tag team it would be instantly changed and I’m still tempted to change it regardless. Now onto tonight’s show.

Once again the tag team title match jerked the curtain of tonight’s show with Miz and Morrison, entering first and starting this night of great, defending their belts against Colin Delaney and the Innovator of Violence in an Extreme Rules rematch. Simply put this match should have been the main event of the show for two reasons, one it was the only title match on the show and two all four of these guys worked their asses off and put on one hell of a match. There were some really great spots in this match including a simultaneous Superplex (Miz to Dreamer)/Powerbomb (Delaney to Morrison), a double tree of woe complete with a Dreamer dropkick of a trashcan into both of the champ’ faces, and Delaney hitting the old Dudley Boyz Wazzaup while donning the hometown Bears’ helmet. One of my favorite parts came when Delaney was thrown over the top rope as he attempted an Acid Drop and Joey Styles stammered like he’d never seen the move for about ten seconds over what to call it (apparently wondering whether it would be safe to reference Spike Dudley) and settled on “Some kind of modified Tornado DDT”. Following this was an amazing move by Morrison where he executed a moonsault from the apron onto Delaney while holding a trashcan to his chest. The finish saw Dreamer get thrown through the backside a table that was leaning against a turnbuckle. This was a fantastic match, given a little but of time, and all of the participants filled their roles perfectly. If you missed it I think there is a replay on WWE.com at some point or I’m sure it will make its way onto youtube within a few days, check it out. Now I only wish the rest of the show could have lived up to this great start, however it was not to be.
The next segment saw General Manager Armando Estrada announcing the Wrestlemania 24 (cough, dark, cough) 24 man Battle Royal with member of all three brands, the winner to face Chavo immediately thereafter for the title. If nothing else this segment confirmed what the opening match of Wrestlemania will be. Kidding aside I’m sure that they will not have a heel-heel opener which means that it will be some unused face picking up the win, while I’m free to change my mind before the show I’ll call the winner as either Matt Hardy (granted he is not in the MITB), Supercrazy, or a debuting Chris Harris.

Stevie Richards welcome to joberville, population you, and of course Mayor James Curtis. In a pointless squash the Great(?) Khali, who will luckily not be appearing at Wrestlemania with the announcement he is in the Battle Royal, squashed poor Stevie in about 25 seconds, max. With only three weeks of wins against nobodies, and yes that includes you jealous boyfriend Mike Knox, why exactly were we repeatedly shown that throat injury footage to get reinvested in the character? Post-match Knox came in and beat Stevie down further, most likely angry about being forced to job to a jobber two weeks ago, kicking off what has a good chance to be the least cared about feud since both of Kane’s feuds with people who spilled coffee on him.

Next we saw the usual Kofi match, this time against Deuce of the greasers with Domino and Cherry at ringside. The highlight of this match came in Deuce’s entrance as hailing from “the other side of the tracks” which always cracks me up. It’s come to the point where if you’ve seen one Kofi match you know what you’re going to get. I was very disappointed in this as after working or being involved with Kelly² the past few weeks I figured we’d see her managing to help and even it up, I guess she realized she’d never go back. Kofi won the match with the Cool Runnings/Trouble in Paradise combo, but if the Greasers’ are supposed to be heels, why didn’t the two on the outside even try to get involved or distract the referee even once, was there a point to them even coming out?

Next we saw Elijah Burke go from main-eventing to jobbing to someone who is not even on the brand in a mere two weeks, an impressive feat, when he took on Lennie, I mean Festus. Nothing really to say about this match other than to wonder why, if Jessie and Festus were on the show, they didn’t get involved in the tag title match earlier if they want the belts so bad. Even showing up and blocking the entrance so that Miz and Morrison couldn’t walk out would have been an effective way to further their feud.

Finally CM Punk took on Big Daddy V in a MITB qualifier that was just as bad as it sounds and as their other encounters in late fall were. I realize that ECW is a glorified developmental territory, but who decided it would be a good idea to put Sisqo on guest commentary? He is phenomenal in the ring but keep him as far away from the mic as possible, I was just waiting for him to yell “AIN’T NO STOPPIN’ ME NOW” after every sentence, actually I kind of wish he had cause at least that would have kept me laughing. Punk won via countout, because it would be too confusing to have him reintroduce the Anaconda Vice, and post-match hit a GTS on Striker. I’m guessing that next week we see Punk and another face MITB participant against Sisqo and Big Daddy V.

Overall this show gets a B-/C+ and that is being very generous, the only thing that saved this show was the phenomenal tag team title match that opened the show, other than that you could have turned the channel and not missed anything. I know it might be hard this week but let’s keep the comments and e-mails up, maybe we can inspire them into putting out a better show, and they had better with Wrestlemania fast approaching. There’s always next week and who know, maybe the champ will actually even show up.
