Hello everyone and welcome to an extremely (no pun intended here) late edition of Guilty as Blogged. So I guess Mike Adamle isn’t the only one with explaining to do. Basically some family problems came up and it slipped my mind. I should’ve gotten a replacement but that’s my fault for not doing so. I am still here and look forward to staying for a while. So without further ado here’s my blog on the 100th episode of ECW.
I guess the only upside to this late blog is the fact I can discuss Nick Hogan’s arrest. People I’ve lost two friends to street racing. Your life isn’t something to play with. And now Nick’s friend will never be the same. I don’t think eight months in jail is justified. He messed up the life of an innocent kid. But I do feel sorry for him. He better hold on to that soap.
Jeff Hardy’s suspension is soon up. With one more strike to go this is it. He can’t screw up anymore. Jeff Hardy will be big one day. Bigger than he’s ever been. But he can’t do it if he doesn’t get off the drugs. I really hope he can make it through.
How stupid is it that WWE edited in boos for Edge on Smackdown? He’s in Canada and he’s a Canadian. We all know he won’t get booed. Just like the time MVP was in Tampa and they edited in boos and didn’t announce his hometown. Vince McMahon just keeps trying to pour kool-aid down our mouths.
So now let’s get on with ECW
ECW opened up with Adamle explaining himself. He runs down his announcing accolades and says he didn’t know how hard this would be. Basically the pressure got to him. He wants to assure us that he’ll do his best to entertain us now. Yeah ok. Later in this show the guy doesn’t know what an uppercut is. He just plain sucks. I just wish he could leave. But then again J.R. had to start somewhere. Wait. Did I just compare Adamle to J.R.?
Our first match starts off with a hardcore match. I know what it’s called but if this was truly Extreme Rules we’d have blood, fire, and more tables. Still it was pretty hardcore. Some cool spots were the suplex through the table and the dropkick with the cart. It was BS the way it ended. Dreamer went through all sorts of stuff in the Original ECW and they expect us to believe he can be beat with a neck breaker on a chair? Ridiculous. I can’t wait to see what push tier giving Knox though.
Now we’re back to the original Kofi matches. Him destroying jobbers or WWE hired jobbers. Benjamin was pretty good on commentary. I’m looking forward to this feud as Benjamin jumped Kofi after the match.
We get a taste of Kelly’s expose. She can’t dance…. but who cares? Sorry Dirt Sheet addict here. It was interrupted by Layla who showed off her stuff until catfight catfight caaaaatfighhhhhht. Where’s Joey when you need him. Oh yeah he’s at WWE.com.
SO now it’s time. Colin Delaney gets his last chance at the contract. Armando’s jacked. I was so surprised at the way he knew how to wrestle. Delaney wins with a sunset flip like maneuver and is know in the WWE. Thanks everyone and next week he will get his music.
Finally our main event. Neely looks stupid in tights. Punk and Chavo pick up the win in a lackluster match. Morrison and Miz were on commentary and they were gold. Kane and Chavo will take on them at Judgment Day for the titles.
Once again I’m sorry to everyone. My readers and especially Richard. I promise this won’t happen again. I’ll see you all on Wednesday and for all TNA fans have a good Sacrifice.

Well, don’t let it happen again. I liked the 100th edition of ECW, and I think it had everything an ECW show needs. Some good moments, some bad, and some Mike Adamle, a whole new sub-division of bad.
I loved the Extreme Rules match, although I was surprised to see Knox beat Dreamer. Why do WWE even keep this ‘roid addict around anyway? Get yourself a time machine and teleport yourself back to 1991, a time where people with wrestling skills like you were the best in the business.
As much as I knew he already had a WWE contract and would eventually get the “on-air” contract as well, I marked out when Colin won. Because he roolz. And damnitall, I did not know Armando was so ripped. I guess GM’s don’t have to deal with the Wellness Policy. William Regal should use some.
The main event just plain sucked. Bam Neely looks too much like Snitsky in those tights. Miz and Morrison kicked ass as commentators, they should do it more often, hell, I’d take Morrison over Adamle.
If it weren’t for the main event, it’d be a damn good show. But for now, ECW’s 100th is a not-so-damn good show. HK-47 is out and leaving the comment for your deletion! Seriously you guys, what’s the point of having comments if you delete them all?

If you think about Dreamer being as old as he is now with the abuse he has taken in the past, and after getting suplexed threw a table should be able to get pinned by a younger strong Mike Knox. Thats some correct selling on his part to not be able to take the abuse like he used to.
Kofi’s match was shorter than what I thought I would be, but the Matt Cross bounce of the ropes was cool to, making Kofi even more unique in the ring, bring Matty Sydal up and those 2 could have the potential to blow people out of there seats.
I’m not looking forward to Kelly vs Leyla again, I guess they have to use the divas in some way but this isn’t the best way. Team Lelya with Morrison and the Miz, they fight dirty and she can be a heel so there you go. Kelly just put her with somebody that will soon be fired or not been seen for months.
Well my channel that ECW was on cut out and got replaced with my sports channel, so I had to go to our channel that plays music but shows our normal channel.( I’ve only got 3 channels). So I missed Miz/Morrisons commentary which pissed me off. I don’t think the match was that bad, Punk looked strong this week, only problem I have is the GTS pose in the middle of the ring each time. I mean I know he has to sell mustering his strenght to throw them over his head but still it just bothers me, and i guess it has for awhile. If only he used the Anaconda Vice again.
I hope Miz/Morrison don’t lose the tag belts at Judgement day, let them keep them till some crazy match at ONS. Why give the belts to Kane and Punk? Its just a way to get ECW on the JD card and I guess this is all they could think of.
ECW was average this week, but it was funny to see how it went downhill from when RVD and Hardcore had that match to where they are now.

HK-47, dude once again I totally understand. I must have gotten my comments deleted like twice when I was arguing with Luke once. It’s rediculous.
May 11th, 2008 at 7:20 am
The reason I delete HK-47’s comments is because my comment board is no place for his “sub-blog” or whatever the hell he calls it. I don’t need a side-show to the main event. If I did, I’d call Vince Russo to put together a Pole match of some kind.

Think this blog got ECW this week spot on. It was an average show at best. I will hate it if Kane and Punk win the tag titles, as I think keeping Morrison and Miz holders will only help improve the two in regards to becoming good single’s heels in the future.

I think these sub blogs are good. THey give these people the chance to comment on what they thought the show was like. By the way who else thinks Adamle’s trademark is retarded? Have Mercy

i didnt think ecw 100th episode was that bad, the annoying thing is the wwe tag title at judgment day why cm punk and kane, didnt yang and moore beat both in singles and all the promo on the dirt sheet. why not miz and morrison vs yang and moore at judgment day.
weird sort out the tag titles, londrick got a great pop on heat but arnt even on raw anymore and cryme tyme come bk massive pop but not even wrestling on raw either.
May 11th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
that was a short blog lol
May 11th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Yeah I just had to throw something together.
May 11th, 2008 at 4:39 pm
For a few weeks they were on spot with the tag teams but again they seem to have taken a back seat. Well maybe at ONS we can have crazy tag match of some sort.
I guess I’m with HK on the sub blogs, but then there are other sites with forms to post on that I go to. Only thing is there I only have a few post so people that have 2000 think they are better than you and treat you like you’ve only been watching wrestling for a week. Here it seems like people that post listen and think a bit more, rather than making some joke about your mother.
So thanks for your support on that Anthony, and Hamza its only ECW so its hard to get a long blog off the show each week unless Anthony wants to talk about the same stuff each week, am I right Anthony?
May 11th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
Yeah it’s hard to come up with new stuff when we’re talking about ECW here. Once they start a new feud for the title or something actually good then I’ll be ranting.
May 11th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
i actually enjoyed the episode of ecw this week and i havent seen it in months actually. everything worked for me… and i don’t mind the “sub blogs” i think its rude when u delete something that someone took a bit longer to type up compared to a regular comment.
May 11th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
Since everybody’s whining, I guess I won’t do it anymore. I just don’t feel my blog or anybody else’s blog should be used as somebody’s platform to take away from the main stuff. Comments and a long-ass deal are two different things.
May 11th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
Luke gets rid of some stupid stuff that comes up on his board, which is good, its like getting to FFWD a squash match.
I’ll get to watch SD this morning, and look for the boos getting edited, yeah it is lame when they do that. Somebody said awhile back that Beth P. wasn’t on Raw when they went to Buffalo cause she would have got a pop. I don’t know if Beth is even big enough for Vince to worry that she got a pop.
We’ll see if Jeff can make it big again this time, he was touching it last time. Well with all this time that he has had off it should be good for his body to heal, since he works rather hard all the time. Like he said in his WWE magazine interview awhile back, his ankles hurt so much sometime he can barely walk the morning.

The most hillarious thing was when ECW went back to th Hammerstein in 2006. The crowd was practically boing everyone. In the main event of Big Show vs. Batista they went: You Both Suck and Change the Channel. Classic. I bet VInce was pissed then
May 12th, 2008 at 8:50 am
I remember that Anthony. That’s why they changed December to Dismember. It was originally going to be in Hammerstein. Those fans would have sh*t all over it and rightfully so.
I do remember that “Change the Channel” chant and Styles & Tazz having nothing to say about it. They couldn’t! If they would have agreed with the fans, they would have been disciplined or something. But yes, hilarious!
May 13th, 2008 at 2:18 am
Lol I actually read that in that last Hammerstein show, during the comercial break, Batista was so pissed he slipped out of the ring and didn’t wrestle until the break was over when he got back into the ring XD
May 13th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
See the thing about him and Cena is that they expect the fans to cheer them just because they’re the good guys.
